I doubt that you could. You'd need a blue flame that comes to a point, where the heat is concentrated, like when you braze or gas weld. This burner gives you a larger flame with no point.

The same as a propane stove orifice size = is about 0.082 inches (drill size 45) My torch fit into my tank that I use for my gas BBQ grill. I use a flint striker to light it. This torch is loud.
