THE NORTH FACEMen's ThermoBall Traction Winter Bootie

This is maybe my 5th pair of these booties. I truly live in these booties 24/7 due to an ankle injury. I wear them year round and don't find them hot even in the summers. I get a size larger so I can put in foot inserts. They wash up very well. I have noticed I damaged the rubber due to using the dryer too much so would recommend you air dry these where possible. I also love North Face products and find they are well constructed and durable. The only reason I have to keep buying these is in part that I do wear them constantly and because I damaged them by over using the dry. No fault of the product.

I bought these because I have feet that get cold easy as well as hands and I have owned/still own other brands and the only one that’s close is double the price and made with sherpa wool inside with leather outside and these are actually warmer and just as comfortable. The color is exactly like it looked in the pictures and the fit is perfect with these, plus they feel great on your feet. I have owned a pair years ago but washed them and could never get them to fit right afterwards, so if I clean them it’ll be hand clean and I’ll probably spray them with a waterproofing spray to make them easier to clean like I do all my quality shoes. Would buy again and they shipped faster than I expected. 5/5 stars for now.

I saw these bad boys while browsing the internet and was drawn to them like a mosquito to bug zapper on a warm summer’s eve. I instantly screen shot them and sent them to my bros to show off my discovery. Everyone agreed they were in fact one of the best set of shoes they ever seen. That night I envisioned myself lounging in my camo bathrobe next to a fire wearing these or walking down the driveway to get the morning paper as my neighbors peered out their window in extreme jealousy of my footwear and I knew I had to have them. I told my wife I was thinking about making the purchase and she was repulsed by everything about them. Clearly her fashion sense is not as sophisticated as mine so I didn’t pay any mind of her weightless opinion. Of course I went with camo because that goes with everything.Everyday after ordering them I waited by the door hoping for their arrival wishing the shipping company made a mistake and sent them express rather than standard. After what seemed like eternity, the shoes finally arrived. I tore open the box and was not disappointed. In fact, I was the opposite. They looked like a modern day moon boot and I knew from that day on I would be walking in comfort around my house as my wife and kids sat in envy. After slipping them on I knew my life was about to be different. Nobody deserves this much comfort, but here I am, a mere 35 years old and I’ve finally made it.Anyways, my wife still hates them and my daughter said “they look like sleeping bags” I didn't know if that was a compliment so I said thank you. These were everything I expected and more. If you are typically a half size go the size up for optimum comfort. (I am a 9.5 and got a 10 and they fit perfect)

Northface decades back used to manufactured these type puffer quilt boots for outdoors, and they came up a lot higher. These short boots are similar but maybe not as thick material.I'm female, 8--9 size, ordered size 7 in mens. They fit with thin socks, not thick. You can put inserts in these for arch support. The sole inside these is nonremoveable and totally flat. Not much cushioning. Not for rock climbing, etc.

Like but not so great on wet or slippery surfaces. Slipped once uses them

WORTH IT! We live in slc and husband wears these allll the time! Feels expensive for a slipper, but they are really good quality. Will probably last for many seasons.

The media could not be loaded. Omg this is a must have. I am originally from ny but live in florida for over 20 years. I travel for work so most places are freezing. And no being from ny and visiting does not make me adjust to the cold at all. My feet have been struggling. I started to assume I had a medical condition or something because my feet were cold all day. My feet were cold from walking from the parking lot to the hospital. Then cold all day at work. Waking 30min my toes were becoming numb and it didn’t matter what I had on. Warm winter wool sock didn’t work and I was becoming worried. Well after finally coming to a realization that my new balance were just not warm enough and maybe waking into work with them and using them for the hospital as well was just not working I looked for other alternatives and thank goodness I did. Wearing this to work only has saved my feet. I am no longer having cold feet all day. For walks inserts will be needed! But rain, snow and wind I have had no issues. I have had my feet like slide in the rain once but never was it close to falling or sliding it just made the noise so I just walk with caution when I see water. Have not had to walk in snow because I did not have these yet. I am an 8 1/2 and listen to sizing up and a 9 was to big for me so my size 8 was best yes I ordered two sizes and returned one. My co workers have also purchased after seeing mine . I love them so much
