No issues with this fucoidan but it is difficult to gauge effectiveness
I have been taking one of these each day for about a month now. I like that the recommended dosage is only one per day, and I like that the capsules are odorless, tasteless and easy to swallow. I have had no stomach or other issues while taking these. They have an expiration date that is a couple of years beyond the 120 days that this bottle will last me, which is great. I like that they came in a sealed box, with a sealed lid, and a third seal over the mouth of the bottle, underneath the lid.I also like their reported benefits, such as providing an immunity boost, lowering inflammation, preventing blood clots and lowering blood pressure. I have also read that fucoidan can help fend off bad cholesterol levels and help fight cancer. These are all important issues that most people can benefit from, but as far as how well these work, it is difficult to judge after taking them only for a month. I have only been sick once this winter, with a cold, but caught that cold when I had only been taking thes a few days, so it was a little early to judge these supplements at that point. From what I have read online, taking this supplement for a longer period of time is necessary to experience the benefits, so at this point it is difficult to judge the efficacy of this product. It is quite expensive, so it would be helpful to be more certain of this product's efficacy.Overall, though, I am happy with this product. I am fortunate that I was able to try it in exchange for an honest review because it is so expensive. I wish there was some way to measure its benefits in a short period of time. Overall though I am glad to add this product in my supplement regimen and am considering buying another bottle when this first bottle is gone, since the cost of taking one per day is not all that high and the potential benefits are so important.

Is this misleading?
The 4 main benefits of Fucoidan are to prevent:1. Cancer2. Osteoarthritis3. Viral infection4. Blood clot. There seems to be some promising research about Fucoidan's anti-cancer properties.I have been feeling my joints are getting stiff sometimes. Not sure if I starting to have arthritis as well. I am hoping this supplement will help slow down or prevent arthritis besides preventing blood clot and arthritis, which are more of my concerns today/.The packaging and the name of this product (Fucoidan Umi No Kiri) are very similar to those of another famous product, Fucoidan Umi No Shizuku. (You can find it on amazon as well, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003LT6T3E)This is expensive but it is only half the price of the famous Fucoidan Umi No Shizuku from Japan that is made of mozuku fucoidan and mekabu fucoidan from Okinawa. Nutrivita Fucoidan Umi No Kiri, on the other hand, is made of mozuku extract and Maritech mekabu extract. Is this an inferior imitation of the original? Is this close to as good as the original? I have no idea. I tried to Google it but found nothing that tells me one way or the other. If you want a reputable brand name then you will have to pay double. Or you can take your chances with this product and hope it is of good quality and is as effective too as the oirignal. There are 120 capsules in the bottle. It is recommended to take one a day. This bottle should last for 3 months, which comes out to be appromately $45/month, which is not too bad.

Pricey but Probably Very Good
If it's just a fucoidan supplement you want, there's several others available here on Amazon for a lot less money and contain a comparable amount of fucoidan, plus usually no more than 2 pills are required for the daily dose of around 1,000 mg. I think (not sure, just what I've been finding on the web) that Mozuku and Mekabu extracts are both a form of fucoidan but I'm not 100% sure about that. This supplement contains both. I just finished reviewing another expensive fucoidan supplement you might want to check out that can be found here: Just put a dot in the address where it says, "dot".https://www.amazondotcom/dp/B09MBZXGKYBoth supplements are pretty pricey and I don't think the jury is really back with a verdict than fucoidan actually helps with cancer or not, but some studies suggest that it does. Please do your own research before shelling out $174.99 for this supplement.

Too expensive
For the price of this they could at least put the capsules in a glass bottle, but no. These supplements come in a brown plastic bottle with a gold tin screw cap. It comes with a tamperproof seal on the cap and on the bottle. Box states made in the USA.Fucodian supplements help increase your immunity, and they also prevent blood clots. You should always talk to a doctor before starting new supplements. Being relatively healthy and keeping my distance from people given the current pandemic, I have not even gotten a cold in the past two years. I can't really evaluate the immune boosting claims of this specific supplement, and cant imagine how any one person could, but I can at least say I have had no adverse effects from taking this supplement. With that said, a couple other fucoidan supplements do exist at a fraction of the cost from Life Extension or Swanson. This bottle was originally being sold at $250 for a 4 month supply. They are now priced at $175. Having taken other fuciodan priced at $50-60 for a 4 month supply I can say that I personally have not noticed any extra effects that warrant the added $100+.
