Does this fit a Dyson DC 50?

According to the description I went by seems it Only fits a number of dc40 models. Try limiting your search to dc50 models

Where does this attach on the dc 40? I need the portion when vacuuming connects to bin.

In my DC 50 it was the attachment from the back from the suction vacuum to the trash holder it allowed the vacuum to open from straight standing to slanted.
