ASUS ROG GL502VS-WS71 15.6-InchThis is actually a pretty light unit for the horse power it has. Have thrown a bunch of games at it at max settings with no hiccups. I have all of my games installed on the Terabyte spindle drive and have had no issuing running them from it. The only complaint I have is that I am not a fan of the touch pad but I do not like them in general and use a wireless mouse. Easy enough to fix by setting windows to disable the touch pad when it senses a mouse is plugged in. Over all the bang for the buck is good so 5 stars for me.

There seems to be a quality control problem with the product that I received. The computer was unreal fast while it worked properly, but it started to have issues almost immediately. First, the GSYNC would still tear and stutter in games where the FPS was over 60 (which it almost always is since the gtx 1070 is such a beast). But then panel would start flickering in the lock screen and occasionally turn fully black. Then, about a week in, the sound card completely pooped out and windows fails to detect it (seems to be hardware related and not a driver issue) so I'm left with a soundless pc. Going to be returning this to Amazon, pretty disappointing since this is my first PC in years after using MACs and its already broken after a week...

Pros: fast, great resolution, high capacity, looks really good.Con: Deal breaker: the battery won't charge. I tried different ac outlets, updated the battery drivers, refreshed the pc, reset the bios, nothing worked. Battery status stubbornly stayed at "0%, Charging". I'm not happy with quality control that allows a high quality, expensive device leave the factory with such a crucial element broken.

This laptop meets every expectation I had of it. It is lightweight, and is very powerful, super fast and smooth. So far every game I play runs pristine with the graphics set to ultra. This was recommended to me by many friends of mine. I do however recommend purchasing the cooling pad with the fans. That device too is very very reliable for the price and definitely helps mine from overheating which is a common trend amongst gaming laptops

Great Laptop fast no issues loading everything. Is there anyway to change the "Republic of Gamers" startup logo, I also use this for business.Bob

Received this computer and tried to boot it up. After conversations with both Asus tech support and Amazon, had to send it back as it would not boot up. I don't know if this is a windows 10 issue or Asus issue, but I am not pleased. Just ordered and received another Asus Rog (different model and seller) and it too has issues. Beginning to really question this product line.

There are white lines on my display. I am hearing other people complain about it. I think it has poor cooling and causes the motherboard to burn up. Device Manager says there is a problem with the pci express card and the nvidia card. last time I buy and ASUS. Will buy HP Omen next time.

I am typing this comment with this same listed laptop. Works great so far.
