Gets Rid of Roaches, Period.
I buy this boric acid fine powder for pest control, specifically for cockroaches. Because I've moved a few times, this is my third bag. I always keep a supply on hand. The powder comes in a sturdy, resealable plastic bag and can be stored indefinitely under the sink. It is non-toxic to humans and pets. It works best if kept dry, but will be fine if allowed to dry after getting wet. There is no noticeable order, or if so, it is extremely light and non-offensive.While I find it superior in almost every way to toxic sprays, if the infestation is severe enough, I've sprayed the house thoroughly to reduce the vermin to manageable levels, and then followed up with the powder, rarely, if ever, needing to spray again.Boric acid is the active ingredient in roach killer powder without the inflated price. One 5lb bag will essentially eliminate all the roaches in a small house or apartment, if used consistently. I sprinkle a fine layer of the powder where I've seen roaches walk, and I keep an eye on where I've applied it to make sure that the pests always have to walk through the powder. I especially put a light coating on the floors underneath all the appliances, around the edges of the walls, and the edges of the countertops. It might look a tad unsightly on the countertops, but this should be a temporary measure just until all of the roaches are dead or have moved on to less deadly habitats, and it's a good bit less unsightly than watching the critters themselves walk across like they own the place!Contrary to popular belief, roaches are fastidious about cleaning themselves because the fine hairs that cover them act as an early-warning system against predators, fly swatters, and angry stomps. They will get the powder on themselves, and then clean it off with their mouths, thus ingesting the powder, which will cause gas to build up in their stomachs. These insects cannot expel gas, so it will cause their stomachs to rupture from the pressure. While this seems pretty gruesome, I find it fitting for such disgusting creatures. It has the added benefit of being 100% effective on 100% of all roaches, as far as I know, because while cockroaches are scarily adaptable and manage to develop immunities to most poisons, they have to live to adapt, and even a small amount of boric acid powder will cause a fatal reaction.Once the roaches stop appearing, I limit the powder to the less visible areas, like under the appliances and the edges of the walls, but I keep an eye out for any reappearance, especially the tiny babies, which may have hatched after all of the adults have passed on or away. If you keep up with this, it is entirely possible to rid even the most roach-infested dwelling of the vermin, even in a multi-family building where one's neighbors aren't as conscientious.I've even managed to control or eliminate those large, black roaches that nest among tree roots and are almost impossible to deal with. I simply mix the boric acid powder with powdered sugar, honey, syrup, or anything sweet, add water and make little balls, and pop them in the oven at medium-high heat for about half an hour, and put them wherever you see roaches--indoor or outdoor. The sweet ingredients will act as bait, and the powder will handle the rest.

For the best homemade deodorant that works wonders, use this
I’m reviewing this after my second purchase. I found it is excellent as a homemade natural powder deodorant. Mix 1 part boric acid with 1 part arrowroot pw, add as many essential oil drops as you want, put into a duster. Apply that powder to anywhere you collect sweat, and you will never stink again. If you’re not sure how to re- use your bottle of J&J or birds bees, there’s plenty of videos on Yt or ig.

Works Great
This fine boric acid powder is excellent for pest control and household use. It’s easy to apply and works effectively against ants and other common pests. The fine texture allows for even spreading in outdoor cracks and crevices. A reliable product for keeping your home pest-free.

First time buy might try again.
I give it a 5 star because it seems to have worked. I have a problem of cockroaches around my house with the water and light source they have. After using, haven't seen at least half of them. I did notice in a test area I did, that was eaten less, so I suggest spreading the product widely. I did see the reviews that complained it is not the correct weight. So I did weigh it, picture below. Do the math. Nice overall.

Probably Works Fine But Called Exterminator Instead
I bought this to get rid of roaches but, after receipt, began worrying about whether it would harm my cat.I ended up signing a year's contract with an exterminator. This is no reflection on the product or on Amazon. The extent of the problem made calling the professionals the better move.
