The All-American hibachi
After throwing out a succession of the stamped metal Weber's that have their issue with rusting away and other problems. I wanted to get something more hibachi like. Your multiple Chinese models that look okay but they're so cheap you just wonder is that the real thing. Got a lot of Lodge cooking stuff and it's all made pretty good which proves America can at least make an cast iron pan. Hibachi kicks ass it's much more spiritual and easy to cook a small meal on. The grill is super thick metal and it just actually grills and Cooks meat beautifully and delicately and leaves little marks it's an experience. It's a little fussy you get out have to get used to cleaning it and oiling it and all the things you do when you love a piece of cast iron. The reward is after it gets really well seasoned it Cooks a damn good meal.

Good old fashioned cooking.
This grill was something I’ve longed for since 2010. I’m so happy that I bought myself one.I’ve used it once, and am so very happy with how it works.I’m 68 and I was a little scared to use charcoal again.Wow, I was missing out with the gas ones.Lodge products have always been a solid choice for cookware since the pioneer days or longer. The quality is the same and you will be passing this on for generations.

Great grill but..
I've cooked on it a few times now. It works well with coal or wood chunks. My only issue is it will leak grease and the entire thing becomes extremely hot so I put some bricks under it. Make sure you have adequate insulation between it and whatever you put it on so you don't melt your stuff or start a fire. It's cast iron. That means you can't let water sit on it and make sure it's oiled so it won't rust. I see some complaints that it rusts... well... all cast iron will rust quickly if you don't properly care for it.

It's a Lodge. Enough said.
I am a Lodge cast iron fan. I inherited a 10" and 12" Lodge cast iron pan and lids from my grandparents over 30 years ago - these are family heirlooms with many fond memories - still in use today! Over the years I have added to this collection including dutch ovens, woks, skillets, pots and accessories. All Lodge. We just got this Lodge Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Grill. Why? First because it's a Lodge. Enough said. Second, because our large gas grill, outdoor fire pit grill and Santa Maria grill are too big to cook on for just the two of us. Why build a bon fire or flame on a 36" grill when cooking for two? This Lodge Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Grill is perfect for two. Easy coal or oak wood starting. Plenty of room for a few steaks and veggies or hamburgers along with all the fixings. The air venting allows you to get the fire/coals just the way you want for a perfect cook. It's also portable - its a bit heavy requiring two hands - but it's also Lodge cast iron. While this grill is "pre-seasoned" I always prep and season ALL my Lodge cast iron before use. Brush down with a stainless steel brush followed by a stainless steel pad, wash under water, rinse and repeat. Oil it all with a good quality vegetable or olive oil or canola oil and pop the cast iron into the oven at 350F for an hour. Once out wipe down with a very light coating of oil. Did this with the grill as well. Seasoning and keeping it seasoned is a critical success factor when using cast iron.Highly recommended for grilling for two. Easy to use and cooks great with charcoal or with oak. Hey, it's a Lodge. Enough said.

Nothing is perfect.....but this is pretty close!
If you are grilling for 2 or 3 people, this is a great hibachi-style grill. I'm hard-pressed to figure out how to improve this design. I suppose it could have better height adjustment and maybe a lid, but that's about it.

Best Grill Ever !!!
Best grill ever, just the perfect size for 3 people, cast iron is the best for cooking since retains heat and head distribution is even, my steaks and burgers come perfect, little charcoal nead it (i used wood coals), easy to clean!!
