Quality rug for a great price!
As a huge fan of The Shining, I saw this rug and had to have it! Fits perfect as a kitchen runner and it is great quality! I have pets that love to run on it and play, no issues with pulls or damage. Easy to clean pet hair off as well! I have linoleum flooring and it does slip a bit but, I plan to get slip pads to prevent it from moving as much. All and all I am happy with pattern, quality and price!

It’s a novelty
This isn’t a traditional rug by any means, more like a printed bath mat material but as a horror movie fan it’s great for the novelty, the print isn’t an exact 1:1 match but any fans of the shining will get the point. I ordered this in conjunction with the overlook pillow covers and am really excited about putting all of it in my new apartment!

Good enough!
So far, this is a usable hallway rug. It doesn't feel like rug material, but who cares. The print is much smaller than I expected in comparison the movie print, but I really only purchased it to get the feel for the Shining movie, not an exact replica. I'm hoping that it lasts with 3 dogs in the house. The hallway is mostly unused except for guests staying in room 237, but we'll see.

The design is distorted and doesn’t look like the photos in the listing.

I was willing to overlook all of the negative reviews, but I don't think anyone mentioned how the printing is distorted. Instead of copying and pasting the pattern they must've just elongated it so it's stretched out which makes it look pretty stupid because that's not how it is in the movie. As others have said, I would save your money, it feels cheap and probably won't last long. Good for Halloween or something maybe.

I bought this for my casita camping trailer, it fits perfectly and was easy to clean up after camping!

Overall Ok
Overall ok with the rug. It's a lot brighter in color then I thought it would be. Material is pretty cheap feeling. If it was cheaper I'd probably give it a 5 star, really just not worth the $50.

If you only want this for a party then it’s great. Put mine out for a party and it was destroyed in one night.
