Does this have a wood veneer, or are the squares solid wood through?

Hi pretty sure it's veneer with inlay squares. Have to pay a LOT $ for solid wood boards. Returned mine looked great but believe I got a B stock with several little flaws. Without flaws it is one of the better bargains. I may get another if I have the need for another board.
