Simple to install with a solid build quality at a good price
I always buy legrand outlets and switches because they seem to be made with a good balance of value and quality. This box was perfect for replacing the mess that was my house’s old “network box” which was a hole in the wall with a bundle of cables coming out of it. I also purchased the legrand outlet kit for this box for only $15 which made running power an absolute breeze. The box is dimensionally accurate and with the cover on has a clean aesthetic. I would prefer a hinged door to more easily access the network equipment but for $45 I’m not complaining with the screwed on panel. This was also an unusual install for this panel as the closet was already dry walled. So I used a multi tool to cut a hole in the drywall and then affixed some studs to the edges to mount the box. I wish legrand made a box with a flange on the front that allowed for recessed installs in already finished walls. But affixing studs inside the wall is easy enough with a 14” hole.

Great finishing touch
I would not build a house without adding these to the design. I ran power, coax and network through it. I even ran a 2" conduit through the walls and into the attic so I can run additional lines in the future if needed. The future will have more theater options but this will help you be prepared.

Worked perfectly for hiding my Apple TV and cables!
The media could not be loaded. Worked perfectly for hiding my Apple TV and cables!I used this to conceal my Apple TV, AV components, and power cables behind a wall-mounted TV. After measuring, I cut into the wall so the box would fit directly behind the mount. I removed the existing electrical junction box and repositioned it to the bottom opening using the outlet punch-out.Tip: Be sure to run all wires through the box before securing it—there’s limited space behind the punch-outs once it’s mounted. I used four wood screws to anchor the box to studs on both sides. Since I have a soundbar, I drilled a separate hole behind its mount to pass wires into the box.I secured the Apple TV and outlet box using zip ties, then covered the box with the included cardboard panel. I sealed the edges with caulk for a clean finish (compound would work too, but caulk was quicker!).Highly recommend this product—just note it doesn’t include instructions, so I hope this helps others!

Perfect for mounting a Samsung Frame TV
A box like this is a necessity if mounting a Samsung Frame TV flush against the wall. It provides the perfect place to house the Samsung One Connect controller for the TV. It fits perfectly between 16”OC wall studs and is attached with screws (not included) screwed into the sides of the studs, unlike some other brands which require additional wallboard removal for face-mounted screw tabs. The cover is optional (we chose not to install it at this time as the TV covers the box). This box is much less expensive than the plastic models from other manufacturers. There are plenty of knockouts for cables and 2 to add metal receptacle boxes for electrical outlets.Note: I removed about a 3” section of the lip at the bottom on one side of the front of the box in order for the One Connect to slide into the box. It took about a minute to remove it using an oscillating tool (a hacksaw or metal cutting blade in a jigsaw would also work). Just make a couple of cuts in the lip then bend the cut section back and forth with pliers to break it off cleanly.

Good quality, metal
It’s good quality, metal, and sits flush, I was able to place it between both studs and screw it on the sides and it sits flush with the drywall.

No support from the company
I’m overall happy with the box as it was easy to install and well made. It fit well between the studs and replaced a home intercom system box. The outlet the comes with it didn’t really work well the predrilled holes, but I figured out how to make it work. The exception comes when requesting support from the company for the cover plate that was missing paint, rusted, and bent as seen in the photos. Hopefully others didn’t have the same experience. Bad on me for not opening all parts upon receipt to know if it was damaged and needed a return.
