I am 56, 5ft 6 and 240 lbs, with 53 inch hips and a fupa from 3 kids + menopause + COVID eating. I absolutely did NOT think this was going to both hide my extra padding AND still look good, but it shockingly actually does. I would still wear a body smoother for my own comfort but I am thrilled AND, as I was pulling it on over my head realized because the bottom is cinched and my hips are wide I can actually leave the bottom at my waist and it looks a regular dress, hanging prettily right to my knees. There is a woman in the comments with a pic wearing it that way and I didnt understand what she meant til this happened. Im guessing after a few wears the bottom wont be tight enough to wear it like that but it'll be fun til then!

Cute! I have to wear a belt with this dress or else it would wear me. It's big and bellowing, but super cute if cinched.

I LOVE this dress! Despite being a lot of fabric, it is not hot like I expected it to be. I get lots of compliments on it and it's great for just throwing on and running errands while looking put together, but can also be dressed up with a cool statement necklace and nicer shoes.I got it in black and it is not thin and see through, the fabric is a nice weight. It's soft and very drapey and flattering.I was in between fitting "as expected" or "somewhat large" because it's obviously a loose/oversized look dress, which I fully expect to fit big. I ordered a M, and it's good. I could potentially order a small even, I think, and still be fine.It gets 4 stars not 5 from me only because the neck opening is really not big enough to drop off the shoulder like pictured and the sleeves are not quite as loose as pictured either. I do admit to having thick biceps so that probably helps, but even though I could probably go down a size, I'm hesitant because of the sleeves.Bottom Line: I'm super happy with this purchase and will definitely grab it in other colors available in my size!

More like a polyester than a viscose.Also, it was shipped on the day it was promised to arrive, so that wasnt cool.

This dress DOES NOT fit anything like the photo. Based on reviews, I purchased my normal size (Large) and the top looked like a fitted crew neck t-shirt with too tight sleeves....the bottom was that weird midi length, not long, not short. I returned and got an XXL.....slightly better, the top fits well, but it's still too short and isn't off the shoulder. I took to my tailor...she cut the top and added new elastic so it actually falls off the shoulder. Presto! I now have the cute dress that looks like the photo and since it hangs off the shoulder now, it's actually long enough as well (I'm 5' 7"). The material is thick but drapes well and has stretch and the bubble shape is cute and unique, as well as comfortable for summer. Worth the hassle and extra $12 from the tailor!
