For years, this style of Isotoner has been my go-to slippers. The have just the right amount of cushion on the sole, while the upper conforms to my foot. When they become soiled, I can wash with my load of delicates and air-dry. The only complaint is the seam that goes straight across the toes - it takes some getting used to. This slipper does tend to run a tad short - I typically wear an 8 shoe; an L (8-9) is almost on the small side for me.

I love these American slippers and they are difficult to find in Germany. I have been wearing the Isotoner slippers for at least 30 years and always had to buy in bulk when I was in the states, but not anymore! I finally found them on Amazon!

I have purchased these many times over the years because they have a soft sole that will not ruin my nice carpet, as a hard slipper sole will destroy carpeting easily. I have plantar fasciatis and very little natural padding in the bottom of my feet. I wear these all year long to keep my feet from hurting from my hardwood kitchen floor. Each pair lasts me about six months before holes develop in the sides. I am a size 8.5 in shoes and I comfortably fit the size large in these.
