Perfect for the gym or other outdoor activities
This case from Belkin is a perfect companion for me at the gym. I can now stop using my old iPhone 3G as my backup music player at the gym in my pocket while I'm working out.Belkin's Lillian Classic case can fit any range of sizes due to the stretchy neoprene-like material making up the strap. This in conjunction with the two slots for small or larger arms can fit anywhere from a child to a man with some muscle on him. Huge body builders, don't buy this...probably won't fit anyway. Also, avoid strapping the band down tight if you are working out your arms so you don't stretch it out. I suggest tensing your muscles and strapping down or better yet, put the band on the machine somewhere that does not interfere. Between the two adjustment straps, there is a small pocket that I cannot seem to figure out. I'm guessing it's for spare cord stowage if the cable is very long. It is more of a hindrance to me while I'm running because my superlight headphones keep pulling off.An iPod Classic 160GB easily slides in through the topside of the armband. The cutout does not completely envelop the iPod after it's in, but that means I have much easier access to the hold switch and the headphone jack. There is also a cutout on the bottom for charging/syncing the iPod which is a little too tight right now for the connector to easily fit in. Taking the player out is easier. I am not a big fan of the plastic that shields the iPod itself because it is quite difficult to manipulate the scroll-touch controls for volume and music navigation. Other controls work just fine.

Works great, not terribly expensive, a little awkward
I bought this after I lost my belt clip one.I like this arm band, it has two slots for different arm sizes, and it holds very securely to your arm. The only down side is that the plastic covers the click wheel, making it awakward/ difficult to change songs, but at the same time, I run in the rain and it keeps my iPod completely dry. It also has a soft back to it, so that plastic doesn't stick to your skin.Good product, solid design, keeps iPod from getting dirty/wet.

NOT MADE FOR 2ND GENERATION MODEL
I had one like this previously and after a number of years, it finally came apart, so I decided to order another. I THOUGHT I was getting the same thing (I measured and the length, width, etc. were the same). However, it is NOT identical to the one I previously had. I didn't know exactly what an IPod Classic looked like, but I assumed it was the same as the 2nd Generation model. Wrong! This armband does not fit the 2nd Generation model very well. It's usable, but barely, and really doesn't work all that well. My old armband had the hole for the headphone cord in exactly the right spot and the slit on the opposite end was perfect for turning the device off and on. With this armband, it's not the same and frankly, I find myself avoiding using it if at all possible. I'm kind of wishing I hadn't bought it. Maybe I can make some adjustments with a sharp tool, etc. to alter it.

Great, sleek design
I ordered this arm band to replace my previous Belkin Arm Band... which was bought maybe three years ago. (I wore the old one until it literally fell apart.) The updated design & construction of this style is great- much more sleek & durable and I feel like it protects the iPod more. The plastic window is crystal clear, and hasn't scuffed yet. I have a small to average sized upper arm for a woman, and it fits me great. The only small problem I have is the way the velcro band weaves through the loops- it's a little hard to keep it looped together while sliding it onto my arm. Also great in the update - it has a pre-cut slit so you can still charge your ipod while it's in the case.

Onto my Second One
I've got pathetically petite arms that sparrows might mistake for a tree branch, but have a habit of listening to my iPod wherever I go. Have tried other armbands for iPods but found this one to be most durable and well-constructed. The one I have now is finally on its last legs after about 3 years of abuse from using it in the gym, biking and walking. The armband remains tight when I do jumping jacks and other full body movements, and the material doesn't stretch easily. You're also given a lot of room for adjustment, and the plastic casing over the iPod controls also allow easy maneuverability of the iPod. One of the better choices out there and well worth the money for me.

Pluses do not outweigh minuses
I really like this product. But the design flaws outweigh the overall benefits:1. Love the key slot--too bad it doesn't accommodate a car key. Fits standard size doorknob keys (I don't know really what they're called, but they're the short normal ones that everyone has at least one for the front door). The pocket is too shallow for the key to my toyota matrix...no matter now i angle it, half of it is sticking out. If I've driven to a field or some outdoor destination where I want to leave my car behind while I run, the key pocket is really ineffective.2. the clear front panel--actually become scuffed with absurd ease. When this isn't on my arm at the gym, it's in my gym bag. After only 6 weeks, the front panel is either scuffed or has some kind of weird film on it. Nothing in my bag but clean clothing...so I'm not sure where this is coming from. Never happened with any other armband I've owned. This is actually really irritating.3. Love the material...But if, like me, you're active but still have a few pounds to lose and your arms aren't rock solid muscle all the way through (ie you've got a little layer of arm fat) then sometimes the armband pinches. and sharply enough for an ow.I'd look elsewhere...I'm searching for a replacement as I type this.
