I love this ironing system it works 10x time faster than regular iron.

You read this headline correctly. We purchased this iron at it's incredibly expensive rate and when it arrived we noticed the base was cracked. Amazon sends problems for this directly to MIele which is where the issues started. Miele is almost impossible to get in contact with, long cues and when it was my turn 90% of the time the customer service person hung up the call. FInally after hours of trying to get through our case was sent to a local contractor who would repair the iron once they received the parts-that was 6 months ago. So for 1,500 we received a broken iron and have heard no response from Miele.

We have a Miele Vacuum and love it. So we decided to try this ironing system out. However steam pressure is insane for the first 6 to 7 seconds then drops off sharply to a rather pathetic amount. Even if this product was around 1k I would still feel it's not worth it. The iron itself is made wonderful, but not worth the price.

If you have to iron - this is the way to go!

I purchased the FashionMaster and it was broken out of the box. A replacement also arrived broken. A third arrived broken, but then Miele sent a repair technician to fix it on site. It worked for several months, then the computer board failed so the device failed to start. This was repaired under warranty, but 8 months later the replacement board failed. Miele Support is telling me that I must pay for the repair because the 1-year warranty has just expired.
