Very upset!!! I ordered three, each one is useless . Moved to Fl. To care for elderly parents. One didn't work on the day received, the remaining two stoped working three days after. Shame!! I am unable to find batteries, looked everywhere. I now, must order batteries from Amazon. WHY?

Poor quality, I would not recommend
Batteries were dead when I got the thermometer. I cannot find batteries anywhere local. Will have to order on Amazon, although I cannot figure out WHAT TYPE/SIZE to order because there is no information on the post, description, etc. Do not have the thermometer with me, so cannot look at what batteries were in the thermometer. SO frustrating! I do NOT recommend!

NOT a basal thermometer. Only measures to tenths.
Functions, sort of. I wanted a quicker reading basal thermometer for NFP. When it only read to one decimal place I took my temp with my 60 second basal thermometer and there was a discrepancy of 1.3 degrees F. I then put both thermometers in my mouth and did it again. There was still a discrepancy of over 1 degree. So not only is the description misleading, but it’s also inaccurate.

Not recommended for BBT charting!
Basal thermometers should measure to 100th decimal place (97.65, for example). While this may be a perfectly good thermometer, it does not serve well as a basal thermometer, because it only reads temperatures to the 10th decimal place (97.7). Basal temperature fluctuations can be small enough that at thermometer that only reads to the tenth place could not pick up.

Do not waste your money on this product....... No Warranty or contact information.... That should tell you they do not stand behind this product...Very Poor product...

Misleading
With the name Dr madre and the product title stating it’s for basal body temp & natural family planning, i assumes this would be to the 100th degree but it is only for a 10th of a degree. Not for use when trying to conceive!

Dependable at first...and then the batteries die within 3 months.
I wish you could turn the volume down, it's really loud. But it's much faster than my previous basal.Update 3/24/18: Batteries died within 3 months!! Went back to using my old one.
