Paint is a very dark (super dark brown...almost black) but it still looks great! Workmanship and wood quality is Grade A. Rests flat on countertop (not all do that). It's large, so it may be a little too big for a 1/2 bath, which is where I wanted to use it. Instead, I use it in the kitchen, which works great! FYI, I used 21000 Pacific Blue towels, but they're just not soft enough (quite papery actually).

I bought this for my kitchen counter because the papertowels seemed to always be in the way and empty. It looks stylish and holds many towels. I added to the bottom of mine pieces of felt, so it's not sitting directly on the counter. That way if any water or any interest liquid is spilled, i don't have to worry about it getting wet. This was just a test to see if it would save money over the paper towels and how convenient and practical it was. So far I'm liking it alot, i only gave it 4 stars because i haven't been using it very long and five stars need to be earned not just given. I will update this soon if anything changes. If it don't change i will come back and give it the last star

I bought standard tri fold paper towels for this. Every single paper towel ripped as it came out of the dispenser. Unacceptable. I sent it back. I liked the design. I thought it looked homey, so I'm very disappointed.

I was so glad that the paper towel dispenser came in a stained color in lieu of the natural color. In fact I actually ordered the natural bamboo one since I didn't look any further to see if it came in another color. When I did, I cancelled my previous order, and selected the Stained Bamboo Dual Dispenser since I prefer the darker shade. Anyhow it's going to be installed in my bathroom. Thank you.

When I received the dispenser I saw that the finish was messed up in multiple places with one place having drips and globs of whatever topcoat they used. It also looked like it was just sanded with 80 grit sandpaper because there were sanding marks all over it. Sent it back and ordered a replacement and the new one also was covered in sanding marks as well as a large black spot (probably the stain that was used and let soak in too long) right in the middle on the front. I won't even attempt another replacement

Every paper pulled comes out ripped. I would return it but I already made 3 huge holes in my wall ( had to use anchors) so I guess I'll just use it by taking a sheet of towel from the top. Not what I intended to do but I have no choice now...

I think this is going to be a better deal than replacing the Kleenex brand hand towels that come with 60 count from the grocery store. We go through these and they are move sanitary than regular hand towels. This disperser looks great in our guest bathroom. I have it on the counter.

This piece is much elgant than the towel roll I use to have in the bathroom. I'm not certain if this is real wood however it is quite durable. While trying to place it on the wall it accidentally fell but there was no marks or evidence of damage.
