Bummer.
I am terribly sad about what has happened to Keen shoes over the years. They used to be DEPENDABLE. You could be sure you were buying a good quality shoe that would protect your feet, and I had many pair that allowed me to work long hours on concrete, in any weather. I counted on them and was happy to pay the price. Those days are clearly gone. I could honestly cry. These shoes are kind of meh. I won't return them, but it's a good thing I got them on sale because I'm going to have to buy some serious insoles to make them wearable. These shoes have no support. The soles are thin and almost flat from heel to toe. If you are doing anymovement that will involve impact on the soles of your feet, be careful. They are an invitation to plantar fasciitis if you don't buy insoles. The soles are very flexible, and might be good for climbing. I can't imagine using them for any prolonged hiking over rock or rough terrain. They seem more appropriate for warm weather visits to the farmer's market. I expect they'll manage the curb just fine. There is no way I could stand in them all day at work.As for how long they will last, I'll keep you posted. I'm guessing not as long as the pair I bought 5 years ago and wore to work today. I could truly cry. I need tough work shoes with good support. That used to mean KEEN. I don't even know where to look at this point.O.K.- Update.I spent $20.00 on insoles and the shoes are working out all right. No blisters after my first 3 mile walk, and I do appreciate to flexibility of the shoe. I will update again about how they wear.My last pair of Keens had the soles falling apart in a couple of months. We will see how it goes.I still miss the way just slipping on a new pair of Keen Hikers was like having a foot massage. I am just happy they don't leave blisters at this point.

Finally! A rugged shoe with good safety features and a feminine look.
I literally tried five different pairs of Keens before settling on this one. They were all either too heavy, too big in the toe area, too tight, or just plain uncomfortable. I wanted Keens because I needed a tough, durable shoe to wear around my horse barn when I’m not wearing boots. I also wanted good traction and a toe guard and I didn’t want it to look like a man’s shoe. Knowing several reviews said this shoe runs big, I ordered a half size smaller. Bad idea. I sent them back and got my true size and they fit perfectly and are super comfortable. I wish the upper material was a tad bit thicker, but that is my only suggestion.

Great Shoes, but international shipping an issue.
True to size or possibly even a 1/2 size big.Like everything about the shoe, but after reading the other reviews which said they were a small make, I ordered a size bigger which were a size too big. I am in Australia. So this is a major disappointment as the cost of shipping the shoes back was $50 au. It takes 2 weeks to ship either way, so now I have to wait another 2 weeks to order the correct size:( And then another 2 weeks to receive them. I have contacted Amazon for assistance but haven't had a reply.

The old shoes had a much better insole (better arch support and cushion)
I have a pair of Keen boots that I bought in a 9.5, so I bought these the same size, but they were a bit too big. I reordered in a 9. I can see why others have complained about the quality of Keens. I bought these to replace an old pair that I have had for over 10 years. When I compared my old shoes to these new ones, the quality is definitely lacking. The old shoes had a much better insole (better arch support and cushion), had leather pieces instead of vinyl and didn't look like they were slapped together in a Chinese factory. As much as Keens cost, their quality should be much higher.

I really like them.
They fit just as well as the previous keens I have purchased before. They are really comfortable for me to walk and stand for long periods of time. The only issue is that sometime they can be a little uncomfortable when I decide to sit on my feet with them on, due to the clip that keeps them tight. Other than that they are perfect.

Tired feet No More!!!
Love Keens - they really are the best show for my feet - I had knee surgery (10yrs ago) and after shoes have been hard to find that my feet feel comfortable in after an hour. I can wear Keens all day and my feet no not feel tired or cramped. The color is just as shown online which I am very happy with!!! I read the reviews that the shoe runs a little small but I ordered my regular size anyway 8 1/2 & I should have ordered the 9- I will wear them around the house with thick socks and break them in!!! Over all very happy

They are super lightweight...breathable...and comfy! Good Buy! I worked in them for 8 hours yesterday...feet felt great all day!

Best Shoes Ever!
I am not a 'shoe person' by any stretch of the imagination, yet these are the third different pair of Keens that I own. These are EXACTLY what I was looking for for a lot of walking all throughout Scandinavia. Comfortable right out of the box, great fit, nice neutral color that seems to go with everything. Such a plus that they are waterproof and designed to let you walk or hike through just about any terrain or weather conditionDo yourself a favor and treat yourself to these.

A valuable addition to my keen collection
Exactly what I wanted. Comfy, light, room for expansion. No breaking in required. Like a sand leaf, but closed in so you don’t get grit and pebbles inside. Good for long walks and easier hikes. Good traction. Not sure how long they’ll last.

Guter Tragekomfort – jedoch schnell defekt
