Good entry level sealer, and very compact.

This product works great, but I do recommend watching a few how to reviews on your video platform of choice. The demo bags that it comes with are good for 5-10 pounds of meat, but you will have to buy more relatively soon. I got a few rolls of the food-saver bags and the seals that they made held perfectly.The only issue I had was that I sometimes need to place my hand on the top while vacuuming to get a good seal.

Highly recommend

Vacuum sealing is a great way to stretch your budget and create convenience for the family. I've tried a couple different models and, frankly, the price you pay isn't necessarily indicative of the value you receive. I bought this little Ymiko sealer and find it surprisingly well made (okay, it's plastic but the parts fit nicely together). It works without flaw. If you've ever used a vacuum sealer you'll know they sound like an MRI machine when their doing the air extraction. This one has a quiet little sound that isn't disturbing.

I think this is a good value, it might not be the most user friendly vacuum but it works. The instructions from China don't help things and might be why there's such negative reviews. You can look up how to use it on YouTube like I did.
