Best novels of the Vietnam war.
These books make you feel like you are in the jungle with the troops. I served in the same location that this series talks about. Very real description of the conditions that the Vietnam infantry solider faced.

Short but sweet.
The camaraderie and brother hood of our soldier's continues to bring price to this U.S.A citizen. Thank you for bringing home the story so many American's family have endured. Tough it true.

This firebase actually existed and is not ficticious.
I was on the firebase late 1968 and into 1969. I have no idea exactly where we were. The firebase didn't even have a name and we were off the map that we used. We dug the perimeter bunker line, had a 81mm mortar pit and a 105 battery. Right after a short Christmas stay we rucked up and left. Thank God for small favors.

This was a great read .
Having served in Vietnam...and at the location of this book...it was a great read. I liked the interactions of the characters...I know...friendship from our tour in Vietnam conflict is etched in our hearts. The book was well written, the story was good, and the plot well developed. It is worth reading for anyone and more so for Vietnam veterans.

Good Novella
I liked reading this because it was fast paced. It gives a peek into a world most have never experienced and never will.

Good stuff
Glyn has crafted another great story. Just when you think the series has peaked... put on your seatbelt!
