Because of it's size it can get into those small areas that difficult to reach with large foil shavers.Update: User experience with this mini foil shaver has been topnotch. Easy to hold my hands and very powerful. This mini shaver leaves my face smooth as if I've used a straight razor. I have actually been using this mini shaver as my daily shaver instead of my full size foil shaver, it's just that good. Cleaning the mini shaver is very easy to do and quick.I would like to buy replacement foil cover and blades but I guess I'll just have to buy another unit as a backup instead.

I just happen upon this as gliding through Amazon last week for gifts for stocking stuffers and mailable gifts for family grown ups.This came up and WOW looks nice, easy to hold and great for the man in your life always running late or out in the wild.This one I am sending to NJ for a Fisherman I know thinking if he is out camping or traveling far away ponds/lakes he can tidy up in the car or tent!Men need to feel good too and finding them one thing that is traveling worthy is hard enoughhoweverI think I found a JEMCon: he wont share itPro: it is thin and smart and under 3", made to last, good traveler and easy to mail

It's good to have if you don't have anything else. It seems to have an issue shaving slight curly facial hair. Something that can take around 30 seconds with my other shaver is taking me at least few minutes with this unit. Other than that, it's portable, sleek looking, and the charge seems to hold well.

very small, well built all metal and does a great job. I bought this electric shaver to trim around my mustache. It needed to be small enough to get in between my mustache and nose...I couldn't be happier. Ive had it for about two months and still haven't had to charge it. and the price was very inexpensive...

This is a shaver I really wanted to like. The size, weight and charging system all seemed like it would be great for travelling and it just looks cool.Unfortunately, as a shaver, it leaves a lot to be desired.I normally use a name-brand microscreen shaver and it normally takes about 2 minutes for the daily shave. However, if you move it too quickly, this shaver tends to grab and pluck the hairs, rather than cutting them, which is pretty uncomfortable. It also takes 2-3 times as many passes over the same area to do the job, although even then, it is not as close a shave as I am used to. Unfortunately, with the necessary slow movement and multiple passes, it takes this shaver somewhere around 8 minutes to get the job done - four times as long as my normal shaver, with results that aren't as good. In addition, there is no way to lock the shaver for travelling - it seems likely that the button could depress by accident while travelling in the shaving kit. This seems like a significant oversight for something which otherwise looks like it is intended for travelling. For $20, the price is right, but for a mediocre shave, it's not worth it - and besides; who wants to miss the tour bus due to spending so much time in the bathroom?

Best buy for a compact travel razor I ever purchased. I would recommend this razor to anyone looking for a powerful rechargeable razor. Comfortable and small enough to use on ears and around nostrils. I've been shaving for over 30 years and I know a good shave when I get one. This little razor delivers. Easily 5 Stars.
