A Winner from Nitze - Micro Battery Plate
Nitze has been on my radar for a while, but more as a smaller camera accessory maker... not quite at the level of quality I'd previously wanted to buy. But recently I found they were the only ones making the product that I wanted, so I decided to give it a go.This is a fantastic little plate due to it's tiny size and features. I bought this one over others because of having two d-tap ports as well as one USB-C PD port. My primary camera rig is the Sony FX3, which is externally powered via USB-C PD. I regularly run a rig with at least one external monitor, so I use a d-tap to NP adapter.I don't use the barrel port which apparently the old version had two of but had no USB-C port. The USB-C PD port on this (new/current?) version is a huge selling factor, as it removes the need for a d-tap to regulated USB-C adapter to power my Sony FX3.My only issue with this plate also relates to the USB-C port, and hence giving me the impetus to write this review... the USB-C port is RIGHT under the V-mount lock. This makes it a bit awkward to both have a USB-C cable connected, and attach/remove the V-mount battery. It seems like an oversight by engineers who didn't have the room to put it elsewhere, or didnt actually use the device enough to work out the obvious issue with the placement. @Nitze, please move the USB-C port away from the v-mount lock. Thanks!

Great quality and design.
Great product! Well built. Simple yet beautiful design. Easy to use and setup. Parts actually function. 2 years ago I bought a knock-off unit from another company and half the ports either didn't work or the power would randomly turn itself off or on. Will definitely try more Nitze products in the future. Thanks!

Great plate. Don't regret. So expensive though
It took a while for me to get all the parts to properly get this plate into a position for the best rig possible but once I bought a riser and special screws and a month of trail and error, It is now high enough to allow me to hold an ssd on the back of it and not block my rails as well as allowing the camera to open the screen below the release button
