This is pretty cool, so much more secure than the other styles. It slides in to your CD slot & then a screwing mechanism tightens it in place (by pressure on itself, it doesn't screw into your console).I can rotate the angle, but it doesn't move as I'm driving. It gives space for the charger cord to stay plugged in too.

The LISEN Adjustable Phone Mount has pleasantly surprised me with its reliable performance and minimal bounce. I've been using this mount in my G37xs for a while now, and I'm quite pleased with how it handles.When I first got this phone holder, I intended to use it temporarily until I found a more permanent side mount. However, it has exceeded my expectations, and I've continued to use it for its stability and practicality.While there is a slight bounce to the mount, I've found it to be minimal and almost non-existent for the most part. This is crucial for keeping my phone steady and easy to view, especially when using navigation or making calls hands-free.I was concerned that the mount might obstruct my center console or important buttons, but I've been pleasantly surprised. It doesn't cause any major disruptions, though the rear defroster button is partially blocked. This hasn't posed a significant issue for me and is a minor trade-off for the convenience of having my phone easily accessible.The design of this mount, fitting into the CD slot, is a smart choice. It ensures stability and prevents any wobbling during driving. Adjusting the angle of the phone is simple, allowing for optimal viewing without straining my neck.What I appreciate most about this phone holder is its unobtrusive appearance. It doesn't clutter my dashboard and blends seamlessly with the car's interior. Its black color and sleek design are subtle and don't detract from the car's overall look.

I purchased this mount because I did not want to block any air vents in my 2015 Volvo S60. I had concerns with the cantilevered arm, but that has proven to be solid and not presenting any problems or weaknesses. I was able to position the phone so it only blocks the emergency flasher switch from the drivers seat. The phone is nice and steady. I can see and operate the phone just fine.The phone release is not ideal being located on the back and stiff to operate. I have to press on the touch sensitive phone screen to release the phone, a problem if the screen is active. Fortunately, this is mitigated by the curve on the side tabs. It holds by S21 with Defender case snugly but loos enough I can lift the phone out of the mount without having to push the release tab.The CD player slot is angled a bit to make inserting CDs easier. This is not the best surface to wedge the mount into, resulting in some movement of the mount. This movement is not great enough to degrade phone operation.Curious note, the mount tends to rattle a bit without the phone in it while driving. I pretty much need to have the phone in the mount when ever I am driving.

I've tried out many phone holders in my cars and never found one that checked all the boxes. This one seems to.I just bought a 2021 Acura and was surprised that it had an in-dash CD player - something that I wouldn't use. So when I was looking for phone holders this one caught my eye since it could be mounted using the CD slot, but what was really appealing was the fact that it was so adjustable. I was looking at another holder that utilized the CD slot but I was concerned that it would block my lower in-dash screen. This one appeared to not have that problem so I went for it.The adjustability of this is great. I use the CD slot and was able to easily adjust the phone cradle so that it would not obstruct anything important. I saw that it also came with an alternate mounting mechanism - that being an attachment that would be used to mount it on an air vent. The CD slot worked best for me although after trying out the air-vent mount it seemed to be way better than any similar holders I've used in the past.If I have one complaint it's that this holder rattles a bit - but only when there is no phone attached to it. When the phone is there it's quiet, although it does shake a little. I noticed that mentioned in a prior review but when you think about it, it has to have some give to it - for the same reason that skyscrapers sway in the wind.So once the phone is mounted it's not going anywhere and it's held in place very securely, which is what we all want.Whether you have a in-dash CD player or plan to mount this on an air vent, it's a great choice.

Fits like a glove, really easy to install, have a premium feel for the price, work very well. Money well spent

Look, the adjustability of the design is what makes this holder stand out and what makes it appealing to many of us. My car has very limited mounting options and the CD slot is about it. However, an actually sturdy CD mount puts the phone too low and it interferes with the shifter and some of the buttons I need. So I got this so I could mount it in the slot but get the phone up higher which this does.The problem is that the little slider that the ball mount is part of wobbles. It will always wobble as it has slop in the mechanism as part of the design and it can't be tightened.This holder is currently $15, not worth returning and frankly there isn't another option that I think would work much better but... I'm not dealing with the amount of crazy wobble that this thing has in it's current form, not even for a drive around the block!So for my needs, I set it where I need it in my car and I super glued the ball/adjustable mechanism slider in place solid. It is no longer adjustable but guess what, has no wobble anymore. IF that will work for you then maybe consider getting this despite the design flaw, otherwise you have to weigh my review against the hundreds that rave about how "Sturdy" and "Solid" this mount is. I don't know what to tell you, it isn't :/
