Star Wars: The Force Awakens Graphic Novel Adaptation (Star Wars Movie Adaptations) Paperback – August 29, 2017

The graphic style is fun, the characters look great. The storyline is a condense version, which, while many complain about that, let’s be real, you’ve seen the movies 100 times each and don’t need every bit of dialogue to be on this page. these are fun reads that are great to have.

These books are great! We love the artwork. They are made if very nice paper too, not just some cheap stuff. So far i have bought three Alessandro Ferarri books and i plan to get more.

We read this EVERY night. My kids love it! I could use a change at this point. ;)

The Force Awakens graphic novel is a very condensed form of the seventh Star Wars movie. I am not entirely sure who it is meant to appeal to though. If you have never seen the movie then this adaptation might leave you with questions and feel that the story is lacking. There isn't as much time to dedicate to character development and backstory. Whereas if you have seen the movie and know a lot about Star Wars this will seem like it glosses over too much and only the major plot points are provided.I believe that for both types of readers, there will not be enough information provided to satisfy. That is not to say that it is not enjoyable, it is! But you have to go into it expecting an easy read, with nice illustrations and a quick walk through the story. If you don't expect this to be a deep dive into the Star Wars story and just a fun, different way to experience the Force Awakens then you'll be satisfied.
