I am a sound geek, quite fussy about sound quality.After looking at all the offerings for this type of DAB portable radio I settled on this & I am really pleased.The inclusion of an EQ facility was a big influence as was the large LCD displaythis all within a fair price.The sound is really excellent within its class, not on par with my 5.1 AVR system but its a small portable DAB/FM radio & perfect for that. Simple to set up & use.Highly recommended & I would buy again.

This is a great little radio at an appropriate price-point. It is similar to other DAB radio in terms of presetting your favourite radio stations. Volume is great for the size of the unit and looks impressive. Nevertheless, in terms of the layout of functions, or buttons if you prefer, I would have preferred a separate on/off button, not where it is placed here on the central dial. As I bought this for my elderly Mum, I think there are simpler units out there. I’m not sure she’ll be able to access the various functions of the radio easily with her deteriorating eyesight. In my humble opinion the central dial does too much: on/off, volume, up/down. Just have different buttons! Fatigue of the central dial, as a result of continuous use, may set in in the future. Only time will tell.In short this is a lovely radio but consider who you are buying it for. It might not be the best unit out there for the elderly, those with poor eyesight, or individuals who are neurologically challenged.

Great value, easy to use, nice colour screen, decent sound, just the right size for a kitchen window sill.

This radio is brilliant for the price. It does so much.It has a lovely sound quality.Apart from the usual functions it has an equaliser, alarm, sleep timer and loads of radio stations. Fm Bluetooth and digital+ and loads of pre set spaces.I'm really pleased with it.

This was the second radio purchased via Amazon I’ve had to return. Seems there is no production quality left in this modern throw away world.On arrival, I thought nice little radio, looks good, compact and seemed to function well despite initially dipping in and out of the Dab plus signal for Classic FM.28 days after use the LCD screen displayed nothing, function buttons did not operate and no radio sound at all. This seems to be a general problem with this and many other radios of this type judging by reviews.Oh for my little transistor radio from the 70’s that function perfectly .Had to return to Amazon, for refund, again!

We bought to use while camping or caravanning. However the on button is a push button and very easy to depress by accident .. it turned itself on in the back of the car a few times. If not transporting it, then its a great set up

Hello, I’ve purchased this speaker a little over a month ago and I was fed to wait to get see if there was anything wrong with it before writhing my review.I’m short, it’s an amazing little speaker. It’s very quiet but you can fiddle with the settings to make it louder and have a bit more bass. Do note that when you up the bass it doesn’t like it that much as it’s starts to crackle and sound a bit horrible with some songs. But it’s more than loud enough for one or two people in a household.I like the fact that you can move it around with you as it can take AA batteries. However it doesn’t last long at all with little cheap batteries so a portable charger would be a sufficient option/backup.For the price and for what it can do I do think this is a good option but do note that the bass and loudness isn’t the best but for the size and cost you can’t really go wrong.I’m thinking of moving it in my bedroom as an alarm clock/speaker and getting a speaker that can handle the bass without it crackling some of the time.I hope this helpsReece!
