Very poor mechanical engineering it worked 2 times
My Grandson was elated to get this fantastic looking rifle, however after shooting it twice something happened. My Son is a good mechanic, he took it apart and immediately found the issue. It's working again and was re engineered. This thing is flawed and reviews on other channels indicated Hasbrouck should have looked St the mechanism again

Purchased & got a replacement - BOTH had same problem, firing mechanism broke
It's hard to believe this product passed QA. Got the first one and mechanism stopped working after 2 days. We assumed it was just a defective one-off. Received the replacement and only got one shot off. The second shot never made it out of the gun. Bullet folded in half inside the mechanism and can't be removed as the main part is welded together. The first gun shot very poorly and came out of the gun with little velocity... barely made it 20 feet. Assumed it was defective. The one shot from the replacement did the same. I believe it is because the firing part is in the short stock of the gun and doesn't have enough force push to it properly. It loses velocity as it makes it's way down the barrel and comes out very weak... that is, until it breaks completely. Nerf usually makes quality items but they phoned this one in.BONUS: The barrel and stock come in 2 parts. When you insert the barrel, it locks so there is no way to get it back out without breaking it. When you have to return it, the gun no longer fits in the 3 foot box as it is now 4-5 feet long. So now you have to rig up a new box to send it back.... that's the biggest aggravation of all. And now I have to do that twice.Don't waste your time or energy with this one. Your 8-year-old Mandalorian will be sad when you tell him it is garbage and needs to be returned.

Easily breaks
I’m not sure who they designed this for but it broke after only a short time of playing. The clip inside that allows re loading failed . We were able to make a temporary fix for a while but it broke again not long after and a piece of plastic actually came off that time .I think the concept is cool and my son loved it when it was working . He still won’t let me completely throw it out but it no longer works .
