I bought this light in 2023 and I’m buying another one this spring 2025. It’s easy to use and it has an app that is used with another light if mine. Very convenient.It was easy to install and it lasted 2 years with no problems. I like the way you can change the color and brightness of the light from your phone.I do recommend this product.

This was not my best experience with this brand. I ordered two lights. For the first light, only two of three lights work. The second light works but only after repeated tries coordinating it with Wi-Fi.I initially rated these lights four stars. I have had good previous experiences with Home Security lights. I tried to like these lights despite the difficulty of setting them up and despite one light being totally out. I finally got both lights working, but after a few days working as it should, the good light switched modes so that the only thing it does is flash. Flashing should signal that the light is ready to connect to internet, but if will not connect. I removed the light using the app. Now the app will not find the light to add it back. So, two bad lights in a package of two, and I have to lower my rating to the lowest rating allowed.

Installed easy, working as expected, so far. Easy setup with alexa.

While I did receive the Home Zone LED Security Light at no cost, my review is based as if I did pay full price ($59.99 at the time of this review).Please note that this is NOT a solar powered/battery operated motion sensing floodlight - the installation requires hardwire connection to 120vac so unless very experienced with electrical wiring hook-up, an electrician is advised.Another key issue to be aware of, you MUST download, install, and use "Home Zone Smart" application on your phone or computer - the unit has no manual settings or adjustments. Do not buy this product unless you will in fact operate using the app.The product was received in the retail packaging, not inside of a typical shipping box so I do not have a photo of the box front as it was covered with shipping labels. Thankfully the product itself was well packed inside the retail box so nothing was damaged. Taking a hard look at the product, I was immediately impressed by the quality which was far superior to other outdoor motion sensing floodlights that I have purchased and installed on my different homes over the years. My favorite feature is simple, easy light assembly installation once the light base has been installed. The electrical hook-up took a bit of work, especially since a junction box (not included) had to be installed first (see photo #6 below) but once that was done and the light base was secured, the floodlight assembly popped right into place with a single screw - so easy!The manual booklet has very small print but the installation instructions were good. The instructions for downloading the app were okay but the instructions for connecting to your home Wi-Fi (router) could be better. The product information does make note that 2.4Ghz is required and the unit will not work on 5Ghz. Since I have a dual channel router with both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz frequencies, I tried using 5Ghz and as specified, it did not work (last photo below) so I connected to 2.4Ghz and everything worked just fine.

If you have a large house and the wifi is weak in areas, then these have connectivity issues. I have to use them as regular floodlights and turn them on and off manually at the switch.

Super bright. App allows you to turn on and off easily. Install was straightforward. Good product.

I replace an old set of 3 spotlights with this and it does a nice job. The app was not so easy to get working and took several tries but I now have control on my phone. I could not get it to hook up with my Google home system though. It claims to work with it.

Awful product. It is a nightmare to set up. The instructions say something but in practice it behaves totally different. Works half the time. Detection is hit or miss and if the power fails, it will get deprogrammed.The reason I bought this one is that the non smart ones are not available.
