Classic Retro Cafe Glass Sugar Dispenser Pourer Shaker Large Stainless Steel

This shaker is very cute and kitch. It has that americana diner vibe. I was impressed that it is glass and metal rather than having cheap plastic components. But most importantly it works! I used to dread venturing in to the kitchen to make a brew. Inevitably i would have to spend a while scrubbing the dried on sugar off the counter top before even filling the kettle. Now my work surfaces are spotless. No erroneous grains of sugar carelessly smattered during the lengthy 10/15cm voyage from the super canister to the mug.

Bought this as sugar bowls get very mucky in my house, too many wet spoons. I grew up with these in diners and many eateries in the USA. This is perfect. It dispenses a teaspoon of sugar each time which has actually stopped us from putting "..another half for luck." in. Its NOT freeflowing like some. Veery happy with purchase and would recommend.

Have to be honest it is decent for the price. Only a few quirks about it.1: The 'stem' seems to be loose as another reviewer stated meaning it moves around at times until jar is filled. Sometimes the sugar doesn't 'flow' properly and other times it does.2: The lid is a very light weight metal (aluminum?) and sometimes it can be difficult to screw on straight. Sometimes takes me 2/3 attempts.Overall for the price I paid I can't stay I expected top notch and the quirks I don't think are a major issue for the long term. The jar itself seems heavy and thick so should last sometime.

Good purchase , better than expected, large in size . Decent quality for price and added bonus just releases right amount sugar for purpose bought for. Good for events if wanting to put out on tables. I purchased to offer drinks for homelessness cart offering hot drinks , and great to ensure sugar doesn't go everywhere. Releases sugar with ease when tip up over drink. Easy to fill and sugar secure. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase again .Arrived as expected.

Got this for my elderly Mum who has Osteoarthritis & sugar has become a messy business due to poor grip .. perfect solution & a nice looking item .. can recommend 🐮🌸

Not the best construction, delivery tube is made of folded metal, not a continuous tube. The tube is a push friction fit into the lid. It is a poor fit that allows just a little sugar to leak out round the tube. I guess the folded construction is to make the tube behave as a spring to hold it into the lid.The metal appears to be cheap tinplate. A stopper or lid on the end of the tube would have help to keep the sugar dry and ensure it flowed better.
