Sturdy does the job

A tad cheap looking but then you get what you pay for. Arrived on time and does the job. Not bad for the price at all.

I'm really pleased with this. It was cheap so I didn't have very high hopes but it was exactly what I was looking for - a small, very plain fireside set to fit in fairly narrow gap by my wood-burning stove. Most designs I'd seen were too large and lumbering or faux-olde-worlde with horrid twiddles. The only problem was the screw at the base had been pre-tightened so hard I had to get someone stronger to loosen it for me. Other than that, no problems.

Upon recieving this item, it was noticeable that there were chips and scratches on the paintwork, I wasnt going to leave a review as i didnt see the point, but now after two days of use the end of the tongs has now fallen off and the handle very wobbly, I will pursuing a full refund on this product.

This companion set is excellent we have a coal fire and this is the next best thing for helping to get a raker with it is a bonus well worth the money

Overall the product is good but the stand went in the bin within a fortnight as everything kept falling off. The poker and shovel are brilliant. The tongs don’t align properly but still work. Brush is ok but bristles not very sturdy
