Came across this bag while browsing Amazon and I loved the idea. I've always battled with the ball of yarn rolling everywhere while I crochet and this bag has helped to keep the ball in place.I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of quality and size but I'm impressed. Quality is good and size is very generous. I've managed to fit in 3 balls of yarn although you could fit a few more with extra room for my crochet hooks and blanket I'm working on. From the picture you will see that i also have an A4 folder with my pattern in the bag. It closes perfect with it in there.In terms bag features there is a handle on top and comes with removable adjustable straps.The top has two slits with four round holes where the wool goes through.Closure is via a double zip so you can zip it either direction.On the outside there is 2 slip pockets (one big and one small) and 3 slots for pens or crochet hooks if you have the metal or wood ones. If you have the rubber end ones it might be a tight fit depending on which hook you are using. The one I have in the picture is a size 4 hook.Inside there is two pockets to put little bits in. I would have preferred if the inner pockets were elasticated so you could put a little more. A divider would have been good too but that's just me. Still it does everything I would have wanted for a crochet bag.I would highly recommend this bag to anyone who crochets or knits. Keeps your project in one place and easy to carry the lot around whether indoors or outdoors.

For the price, this is well worth the money. Nicely made, very sturdy and larger than I expected. Comes with a shoulder strap and has 4 holes in the top for feeding the yarn through, as well as a nice assortment of pockets on the outside but very roomy inside. A great buy.

This bag is amazing.I'm new to crochet having just started in the summer. I have finally given up on using bags for life as wool storage and then trying to find where my hooks are. I decided to treat myself and buy this bag.As a guy who crochets there aren't a lot of options out there as the bags typically look feminine so it was refreshing to see a hard wearing canvas plain bag that was perfect for me. There is plenty of space inside, I manage to get 6 standard balls of wool in there and my project/s on top too.The handy storage pouch at the front gives easy access to crochet hooks, scissors etc. The feature I love the most has to be the two openings on top that allow the wool to feed through when working, keeping the wool from tangling around your feet or shooting across the floor as you grab more. It is different from other designs I've seen in that you can fit a full ball of wool through the opening of required. This is great because on other designs I have seen, once you feed your wool through the metal hole you have to keep your wool in the bag until you finish the ball. This particular bag allows you to move the wool with your project.Overall I'm thrilled and more than happy to carry this on my travels. I got this bag on offer and thought I'd give it a go, unsure if it was right for me. I've loved having it so much I've ordered a bigger one with dividers already in it. The biggest downfall with this bag is that you have to create your own dividers to make sure your wool doesn't get all mixed up and tied up amongst itself, and the reason for the loss of a star.The 4 holes are great and the fact they have a big cut out so you can adjust the ball, change the hole your yarn comes from or even in emergencies get the ball of yarn out is great. I have this sitting by me on the sofa and it's a joy, no more do I need to balance the yarn bowl on the remotes between me and my husband. Now my yarn doesn't get in the way or bounce out of the yarn bowl. And this bag doesn't turn the tv volume up or down suddenly.Like I said the only downfall is you need to make your own dividers so it's worth holding onto the box it comes in or getting yourself a thick cardboard box and cutting it down to suit your needs. As soon as you do that this bag is amazing, yes other bags will give you the dividers but other bags won't be as reasonable in cost especially if you are unsure if it's what you want/need. If you think you are going to use it and love it, it may be worth buying another with the dividers in for less messing about. Saying that not having dividers means you can switch up between having 4 balls in the bag versus a big Bernat Baby Blanket ball or two.This bag is huge for the cost and of good construction, should you buy it I hope you love it as much as I do :-)

I bought this in red (a lovely rusty red) for my Mum for her birthday. It's utterly brilliant.She has currently got the following in it: 9 100g balls of chunky knit, one glasses case, one pencil case full of bits and bobs and the accompanying shoulder strap. There is a lot more room.The inside is a lovely matching polka dot cotton and there are two little drop pockets that would hold more bits or probably even your mobile phone.The compact "drum" shape is both sturdy and neat and not at all obtrusive. It keeps your yarn and projects beautifully tidy and clean (and free from pesky dog hair!).It's gorgeous, truly. Now if only they did it in more colours. I'd love a green one...

I use this for my crochet work plenty space for all my hooks and bits and pieces just pick it up and go , room for my phone and purse.. love it . Stylish strong and durable nice colour as well.
