Perfection
Just perfect. Might recommend a bigger screen size, but other than that, its a quality product

Found issues with the USB-C Ports.
Correction to previous statement. Issue with memory management was caused by a program that I had installed. HP and myself spent a week trying to isolate the cause and eventually we found it was caused by Diskcryptor. Removing the latter allowed me to install Windows 10 upgrade 1809. Diskcryptor was reinstalled after the upgrade.I would give this Laptop more Stars but the lack of Ports on it prevent me from doing so. Even the Ports that it does have appear to lack power. They appear to produce insufficient power to run a USB Hard Drive. This was found when using a USB 3 to USB-C Adapter for the USB Hard Drives. Windows 10 doesn't find any Hard Drives that are attached to those Ports. It is a speedy Laptop but it also runs very hot too. I had to reduce the CPU's Maximum Power to 85%, in order to keep down to around 60 C, if not, it would run around 85 C with the lightest of use.

Slim, elegant, fast and light weight.
I love this laptop, it is light weight, slim and looks stylish and even elegant. It is made from white ceramic with gold edging and comes with an off white leather slip cover.. The keyboard is light touch and clicks along nicely. The screen is crystal clear and the sound perfect. It took minutes to set up as it came fully charged and even has face recognition. Setting it up is easy just follow the voice commands.Signing in is almost instant with face recognition takes only a couple of seconds. The screen stands up firmly and does not move once in position. This computer holds ten hours charge and when it does need charging it is really fast. This has to be the best computer in design, looks, ease of use and sheer quality that I have owned and cannot recommend it highly enough. I am no Tech wiz but I do know a good thing when I see it, you wont be disappointed if you buy this computer.

I want to marry it
Simply stunning. I don't know where to begin. There are plenty of spec details listed but if anyone has any specific product questions then please add a comment and I will answer as quick and as best as I can. This looks beautiful. Yes I know it's a laptop blah blah blah but stop.Play the embedded video. It the kind of laptop you'd see fashionably dressed beautiful people in Hollywood movies using while they sip a latte sitting on a cream leather couch...White with rose gold trim..it's almost jewellery. It comes pre-charged so you can set up and go immediately, the lovely Cortana talks you through it...face recognition sign in? Check. 365 days of office free? Yes please. Dropbox? Thank you. I think I could have handed this over to my mum to test it out, if she could get through set up anyone who isn't tech savy but wants a great piece of kit could do it.I love how intuitive this is, I love how it's a touch screen, I love how I can ask cortana 'how to', if like me you've left your old screensaver back on vista so it's familiar but different when you're looking around folder and boom Spectres little helper can take you to the folder / tell you what to do (it's been a while). The picture quality is crystal clear. The sound. Perfect. I can't fault it. I think I want to marry it. If you want a top line beautifully designed laptop, look no further.

HP Spectre
I'm writing this review on this outstanding piece of equipment. The HP Spectre is a direct shot at the Mac Air market, and in its elegance, aesthetics, and the power it packs under the hood, it could be a fatal blow. The laptop arrives in a huge box that belies the sleek device inside. Weighing 1.1kg only (it's like carrying around a frisbee) and incredibly thin, the laptop comes with Windows 10 Home which steps you through the basic setup process; there's little to configure beyond your regional settings, and the process of getting your device logged in is an easy one.The keyboard feels amazing to type on. Having owned several laptops from varying brands (HP, Dell, ASUS) I can say without a doubt that this is the most comfortable typing experience I've had yet on a laptop keyboard. I usually favour mechanicals, which is a downside when your laptop comes with USB-C adapters for most things. I find however that the typing movement is so comfortable that I don't need to switch devices out.The OOTB resolution sits at 4K and on this basis the icons etc on the desktop are enlarged to 300% to make it at all readable. I found this too large and have changed it down to 200%, which still looks amazing.I can't get over the crisp clarity of the screen and am almost sad that the laptop has a touchscreen; I can't bring myself to mark it!The tech in me has to speak about the mechanics also; the 8th gen i7 processor is going to stand this device in good stead for a long time to come, and seems to handle my Adobe work without a problem, as you'd hope. The laptop runs almost silently, and doesn't overheat over time. The sound through the Bang & Olufsen speakers is stunning, especially for a laptop. I find the size of the mousepad, and the fact that it's off-centre to your typing action, a little irritating. The bottom bezel is also wider than seems aesthetic, though I am really struggling to basically nitpick at this point. The short and long is if you want a lightweight, visually stunning piece of professional kit that will cope with any professional task you throw at it for a good few years (and make all your friends dribble into the bargain) then this is the device you want.
