Engine bay work
I have similar air tools, but fancied electric just for unwinding cracked off bolts and the like.It has decent power, but nothing spectacular. I have just been using it to do a cambelt and found it really worthwhile to have.Unlike air tools, it doesn’t have the air connector which is a bit restrictive in tighter spaces.I found that with my Bluepoint 3/8” service kit, I had a great variety of sockets and extensions to cover the whole job.I especially liked how it can be used as a normal ratchet. The battery lasted quite well too considering its size.It came with two batteries, charger and a carry bag. I definitely recommend it for car enthusiasts and light mechanical work.

Way better than you think it is
Been looking at one of these for a long time, and finally bought one as I am doing an engine rebuild. I was a little sceptical as to it's benefit but as soon as I started to use it, it quickly became clear that it was way more useful than I though. It's a tough built bit of kit, that doesn't feel like its going to let you down. It also makes taking out difficult to access bolts etc a lot easier as the tool does the work so you can just hold it on the best position and pull the trigger! It also cuts down on fatigue too. This is my No.1 go-to now and wish I had bought one sooner.

This is a 'how did I manage without it?' tool
Once you have used one of these, you realise just how good they are in tight locations, especially where's there's no room to swing a ratchet.Build quality is good though I wouldn't expect it to stand up to everyday workshop use for long. I suspect the gearbox is the weakspot - it just doesn't sound or feel very confidence inspiring. But you only use these things for taking up slack, then manual tightening, so maybe it is 'good enough'. So far mine seems fine. Battery life is good, just about up to a day's intermittent use. But what is very useful is an extra battery + the matching Sealey torch. The torch is by far the best handheld battery torch I've ever used. It's really bright even on the lowest setting, on mid and high, able to see into oily black shadows in bright sunlight. That makes the pair fantastic value, so buy together.

Great accessory for any mechanic.
If you like working on cars, you'll love a ratchet wrench and wonder how you managed without one. If you don't know (forgive me if you do), the big difference between a ratchet wrench and an impact wrench is the action:An impact wrench uses a hammer action to hit the nut or bolt loose. You must always use impact sockets to avoid them shattering and those sockets will be 6 point as 12 point will ruin the nut or bolt head. Impact wrenches are great for undoing stubborn fittings, but next to useless for tightening them as they will never be at the right torque. A 450nm impact wrench will easily remove wheel nuts, but will put them back on at 4 times their torque value!A ratchet wrench, however, doesn't use a hammer action at all, just a simple turning action, just like a normal socket set wrench. Therefore you put much less damaging hammering action on the nut/bolt and can use 12 point non-impact sockets AND when tightening, you put much less damaging torque so won't strip the threads. In use, just like a normal socket set wrench, you use hand force to loosen the bolt. Once it starts to turn by hand, you then press the button and the head spins and undoes the bolt completely. The reverse is true: Press the button until the bolt is fully tightened and the wrench stops turning and then finish it off by manually applying force just as you would with a hand ratchet.Because you don't have to manually make the ratchet motion, it is also great for confined spaces. As long as you can fit it over the bolt, that is the only space you need. Press the button and the bolt undoes. No need for lots of space either side whilst you try and undo something. It will breeze through engine covers or undertrays - anything where there are a load of nuts or bolts. They just fly off. You really will wonder how you managed without one. It's probably my favourite tool and certainly the most usefulThe lithium battery holds it charge even when stored so it's always ready and you get a spare battery anyway. It's well made and a great accessory for any mechanic.

Sealey 3/8 impact ratchet
This is my first 3/8 battery operated impact ratchet and my first buying/ using a Sealey tool. Let me tell you this tool was a game changer for me - I was doing the Timing Belt/ water pump/ on my Honda Pilot. I can’t believe how easy this ratchet removed the majority of the 10mm, 12mm, 14mm bolts. This is by far a tool I was grateful to have in my arsenal. I was surprised to receive it a day half earlier, and just as promised; 2 batteries/charger. I have traveled abroad so I already had an electrical converter to make charging the batteries simple. But definitely a great buy at a reasonable price. I ordered from UK because I couldn’t find it in the US as a set. A ver happy customer !!!!
