Nifty little gadget for twisting wire for jewellery making. Good price, prompt delivery.

Lovely, well made piece of equipment. The wire twister works very well. I have managed to create a few pieces of jewellery that I have planned to make once I got the wire twister, and they all turned out the way I expected them to. So glad I got it!

Does what you need it to. If you need a good length of two or more wires it is actually rather fun.

Very poor for the money relies on name, thought it would be with a clamp or something for holding wire at that price

This gadget works well with up to 5 wires and makes a neat twist which is even and regular.it was a tad expensive and i have since seen cheaper ones but it was dilivered quickly,which is what i wanted.make sure you leave enought thread to tie securly to a doorknob or something strong!.

This works and does what it says but I find it very awkward to use

Bis jetzt habe ich Draht mit der Bohrmaschine gezwirbelt, was zwar fix geht, wenn man denn erstmal die Maschine vorgeholt hat, die Drähte eingespannt sind, die wiederum manchmal nicht halten möchten, dann wird also ein Haken eingespannt, an welchem die Drähte befestigt werden usw. usw.Für größere Mengen mag sich der Aufwand lohnen, für kleine Mengen habe ich mir jetzt diesen Twister zugelegt.Das Gerät an sich ist nicht so groß, wie es vielleicht auf dem Foto wirken mag, es ist inkl. Griff gerade mal 12 cm lang, was sehr handlich und leicht ist. Das Gerät ist vormontiert, man muss lediglich die Kunststoffscheibe aufschrauben. Das Werkzeug macht einen stabilen Eindruck, ich denke, das wird ewig halten.Vorne auf dem Gerät befindet sich eine etwas dickere Kunststoffscheibe mit 5 Löchern, in diese kann man bis zu 5 verschiedene Drähte befestigen. Muss man aber nicht, auch mit z. B. 2 Drähten funktioniert das Gerät perfekt. Nun muss man noch einen festen Gegenpunkt finden, an welchem die Drahtenden befestigt werden. Ich befestige die Drähte z. B. an einem Türgriff einer geschlossenen Tür.Die Ergebnisse können sich sehen lassen: alles schön gleichmäßig und stabil verzwirbelt.Man muss für das Gerät nicht unbedingt den "Artistic Wire" nehmen, welcher ja leider nicht in jedem Bastelshop zu finden ist und auch recht teuer ist. Ich nutze ganz herkömmliche Drähte wie Silber- oder Kupferdraht, oder nylonummantelte Kupferdrähte. Alles was man so in herkömmlichen Bastelläden findet. Geht auch und zum Probieren nehme ich ohnehin immer erst mal günstige Drähte. Und ausprobieren kann man hier reichlich.Mit verschiedenen Drahtstärken oder/und Farben lässt sich eine Menge Abwechslung in die Drahtschmuckgestaltung bringen: Perlen lassen sich noch kreativer verzieren, Armreifen können mit gezwirbeltem Draht umwickelt oder gar komplett hergestellt werden, auch ausgefallene Kettenglieder lassen sich gestalten und jede Menge mehr. Bei diesem Gerät sind der Kreativität keine Grenzen gesetzt.Einziger kleiner Mängelpunkt: in der bebilderten Beschreibung sind keine kreativen Beispiele aufgeführt. Deswegen ziehe ich aber keinen Stern ab. Bei YouTube findet man mit dem Suchbegriff "Beadalon Twister" einige Videos zum Thema.Fazit: Empfehlenswert.

I was twisting wire by hand with flat nose pliers and it was not fun. Took time and the twists were not very pretty.This solved that problem completely! Makes perfect twists QUICKLY. I'm excited to be able to twist different colors of wire together for some unique looks. I'm primarily working with 20g wire right now and it does a great job. 16g wire is the largest wire this will accommodate. I haven't tried twisting with 16g yet, but it does fit in the little holes.The only issue I have with it, is it's hard to find a surface to hook the other end (not connected to the Wire Twister) of wire(s) to. I ended up putting a ziptie on a drawer knob of my desk and hooking the other end(s) of wire onto that. It works well for my needs. I think a small eye hook screwed into my work surface (so it doesn't move at all) would work better.I would recommend it to friends.

I gave it four stars instead of three stars because for the price it's awesome. I just wish it would hold up to how much I use it, which to be fair is a lot. I like to twist wire for wire trees and you spin this thing like a hundred times per branch and you do that for like 50 branches a day. From all the spinning it created a fine metal dust, which mixed with the oil that allows the device to spin. This make a black soot. I don't know if people who use the wire twister less often have the same problem though. I have never gotten the black soot on anything important. It's also an extremely minor issue, and the amount of soot is very small.

I was pleasantly surprised that this little tool would handle a mix of wire in including 18gauge. It is easy to use and the results are beautiful.

It is a durable tool and does exactly what you want it to do, it twists wire and does a super fine job, I would recommend it to everyone who want their wire to have a twisted look.
