If your factory-fitted radio is stolen...
Purchased along with Quadlock CANbus loom adapter and double DIN fascia adapter following theft of radio navigation system from 2009 Touran. The thieves fortunately did not cut the loom and left the Quadlock connector and the 3 FAKRA antenna connectors in a usable condition.I used a jewellers screwdriver to unclip pin 5 (blue wire) of the ISO connector in the loom adaptor and then inserted the flying power lead (also blue) from the this antenna amplifier. The power is provided by the "amp. out" from the radio itself. This means when the radio is off no power is consumed by the antenna amplifier.The 3 FAKRA connectors I understand are GPS, FM1, and FM2/AM. Not the fault of the product but in my case I might have done better buying a twin FAKRA adapter to take advantage of the the FM1 antenna. I have connected FM2/AM because I want AM radio too, but this is possibly not the best of the two if you just want FM reception, or maybe DAB? However it works well enough for now, and definitely improves the received signal. (I tried connecting to FM1 and there was no AM reception at all)I hope the above explanation will help another unfortunate victim of theft understand how to get a satisfactory sound system back in their car, if they choose avoid the expense / re-theft risk of another RNS-510.

Perfect for a Polo 9n3 / MK4F
Works perfectly on my polo 9n3 / mk4f. Aerial connects straight into the back of a standard stereo, and the signal booster is easy to fit (just plug it into the remote / amp connector).Cannot fault, works as it should!
