Excellent everyone should use it
Excellent product I've had fish for years and I can't believe I've just found out about this! It has so many uses, if you drop a bit in your tank it can warn you of an issue buy changing colour to show what the cause is, use in a filter or place a small bit in a bag for transport to remove any nasty buildup or use to remove meds after treatment, just great product wish you got more for the cost but it is worth it as an early warning alone

Great bit of kit
Great bit of kit, I just cut the size I require for the tank filter and save the rest for many more filter changes. Saves a fortune on standard filters & does the job just as well.

Good but no clear instructions
I have been using this product in my aquarium to ensure good water quality for my betta fish. It did change colour however the lack of instructions isn’t great! It only advises what the colour change means and dosen’t state when it needs to be changed etc hence the 4 stars. Other than this it’s a good product as all my tests on the water quality have come back good!

Recommended by aquatic store
This was recommended to me by the local aquatic store following a mass fish death event. I placed a small strip in the tank and it immediately turned yellow, indicating lead. There's a colour guide on the box. So now I use filtered water and pop a small strip in to keep an eye on things. I change it when it goes brown about every 2 weeks in the 60 litre tank. Recommended.

Improved filter change times....
Use in turtle filter, excellent for helping reduce filter cleaning, weekly to monthly

Poor quality.
This item arrived promptly but doesn't seem to be the same quality of previous purchases. It arrived with the sleeve but was in a Ziploc bag instead of the usual heat sealed bag. The filter is both smaller and had less depth to it than both the sleeve and previous purchases. A Polyfilter normally lasts four to five weeks before going brown, yet this one went brown in a day, with exactly the same loading i.e. no change in fish, plants or temperature.
