Ideal
Intermediate level player here, I love this guitar. It's sound is beautiful. The build quality is really good as you'd expect with Yamaha, tunes good, keeps it's tuning good after a few plays, good size. Nice to pick up and play. Fantastic value. If you're a beginner trying to learn, or an intermediate wanting a classical guitar to record music , this is what you're after.

really good guitar and lovely in black, my son is very happy
my son has had this since january and absolutely loves it, we have to say the black is lovely. im completely new to guitar's and have no idea how long the strings could possibly last, im assuming a long time if looked after well. but thinking of getting replacements to put aside incase of emergencies. is there any particular brand that would be the same as the ones already used on this guitar, which i should buy.

Action way too high even for a classical guitar
I am a learner guitarist who loves setting up guitars or upgrading electric guitars, the action on this guitar was so high when I took delivery it was almost impossible to play, I ended up sanding an 1/8 if an inch off the bottom of the saddle to get it anywhere near playable, how it got past Yamaha's qa control is beyond me, saying that once it's set up it is a nice instrument to learn classical guitar on. Very lightweight, and with new strings fitted it sounds very good. The finish on body and neck are good. All in all after a but if tinkering it is good value.

Wonderful Instrument, Beautifully crafted.
I bought this Classical guitar as I had been using an Acoustic with steel strings which is so difficult to play !!This instrument is so much easier to play and has a lovely warm sound.I would advise anyone who has trouble with playing to seriously think of this Yamaha guitar. You will not be disappointed.I now play the guitar every day with renewed interest !!!

Great value for money
I have a number of guitars and wanted a Spanish style but didn’t want to pay too much. So after some research, decided to try this.Out of the box it played and sounded great. Restrung it with quite expensive strings to see if I could get an even better sound. To be honest there was not a great difference so it must come with decent strings to start with. For around a £100 it’s not going to look like premium model but it looks fine. The way it sounds and plays is more important for me and if I’d payed three times more I would still be very satisfied.Overall, a bargain.

Top notch. Now my favourite guitar.
I’m genuinely suprised by just how good this guitar is. Really great tone, action is comfortable and the intonation is almost perfect! I’m changing out the tuners, bridge and nut but the supplied parts and strings are of high quality. Highly recommended.
