Q: How many net crabs are in a serving?

I haven't netted any crabs, so there are none to serve. It's tea, after all, with no nutritional value. There are many healthy reasons to drink this tea. I actually use it to settle my stomach.

Q: As someone who hasn't had Mate in a few years, should I get the loose leaf or traditional cut? I don't know the flavor difference.

Traditional cut is with stems and not as strong. Whole leaf is a lot stronger without the stems. I like the Traditional cut as a everyday drinker of Mate. I would recommend the Traditional if you have not drank it in a while. I add a little nutmeg or I let some Orange peel dry out on my countertop and break it up into little pieces into my Mate. It’s yummy! Enjoy!

Q: Does this have high caffeine? I have anxiety and tend to stay away from caffeine

Yerba Matte does contain caffeine however it is a metabolic stimulator as opposed to a central nervous system stimulator. It is good for people trying to wean themselves from coffee. If you are sensitive to caffeine, this may not be the optimal choice, however I am very sensitive to caffeine and I can enjoy yerba matte once in a while. I don't steep it long at all, unlike traditional matte that can be brewed all day. You might also consider something completely caffeine free like a rooibos tea which is full bodied more similar to the black tea we are accustomed to, or a chamomile tea, a relaxing herbal tea. Q: Can you add the tea to smoothies?

Are you asking if you can add the whole tea leaf or rather a brewed cup? I suppose you can add anything you want to a smoothie, but I don't think the actual leaf would add anything to a smoothie. However, since many companies have added mate to various drink mixes I would think that mixed right it would be a good addition, might even try it. So can you add mate.....................sure, why not. Mate strawberry banana.................hmmm sounds good.

The way you brew it makes the whole difference

A few of my thoughts about this product:- I bought this one after trying the Brazilian Chimarrão. I like how this one made me feel better. And the taste is also better, but that's subjective.- I am an avid coffee drinker, but decided to switch to Yerba Mate for its GLP-1 benefits, and I'm not disappointed.- Brewing this in a bombilla can keep you energized all day long just because you use more tea, but I DO NOT recommend it for someone who takes stimulants, has heart problems, or is sensitive to caffeine. Use just a scoop or two in French press instead. It will also last longer that way.

Nice fresh, grassy taste without the caffeine buzz

I was able to switch from coffee straight to this without headaches or withdrawals. There is enough caffeine in it, but it's smoother and doesn't have the jolt that caffeine does. Also, the taste is really good and I don't use sweetener but just add some coconut milk.
