Perfect for what I needed, easy to install and moves the shower head out enough to compensate for a filter

I just needed a little space so I can stand under the shower head and not crouch
It seems like a sturdy piece with decent chrome. Sturdy, which is good since I have a brass 8 jet shower head that weighs 4.5 lbs by itself on a brass divertor valve with a lightweight wand.The other reviewer comment on the flange. I noticed it is a little tight at first but then slid into place with no problem. It turned out to stay in place perfectly once installed.I wouldn't pay more than 12-13 bucks for it, which is what it cost.

Great for a very tall son-in-law!
It did exactly what I needed it to do. However, the neck part that went into the wall could have been a bit longer. I made it work.

The flange provided will not slide further than 1" past the end of the arm.
The flange provided will not slide further than 1" past the end of the arm, which isn't far enough to get it threaded into the wall, so you would need a different flange. Dimensions are 7-3/4"W (including threads) x 5-3/4"H. The showerhead end is 3-1/2" higher than the wall end. (Photos attached) Actual weight= 6.7 oz. Product info doesn't state if threads are straight (IPS) or tapered (NPT), but they are visibly tapered at both ends, which I also verified with a 1/2"-14 NPT thread ring gage. If your showerhead has straight threads (most do), mating tapered threads with straight threads will usually cause a leak.

Great for Added Height
Easy replacement with this item. It raised our shower head to a more comfortable height. Looks great & appears to be great quality

Does The Job
Wife and I are both tall, so we needed a way to raise the shower head. I have about 10" from pipe to ceiling and this fit easily.
