Great helmet
This is a beautiful helmet designed for cold weather bicycling. Ear muffs plus ability to ventilate will provide warmth in sub freezing weather. Coupled with anti-fogging goggles I'll be ready to "enjoy" my winter weather rides. Probably the best fitting bike helmet I've ever owned. This is an update to this helmet that was delivered back in September. Used the Timberwolf for the first time yesterday in temps in the low 40s with 10-15 mph headwinds. On my ebike capable of assist to 28mph, windchill was evident but I was unaffected by the warmth of this helmet. Mind you, I did have on an insulated balaclava but the total comfort, insulating qualites, and warmth of this helmet contributed to the enjoyment of my ride. In the past, I would use helmet covers on regular bicycle helmets coupled with combinations of thick caps and balaclavas and I would still suffer from "ice cream" headaches. Now, with the Timberwolf helmet I can be assured of warm, comfortable rides even with the inevitable arrival of old man winter.

Great fit, nice and warm
This is a superb winter helmet. The ear flaps keep my ears nice and warm while riding from 25-40°F. The helmet fits great and is very comfortable. I love that I can open and close the air vents as needed to control temperature. I haven't tried them in rain yet to see if they effectively block rain from soaking the inside of my helmet. Looks like I'll have the chance to try that tomorrow. I'm considering getting speakers for the ear flaps. I've avoided headphones as I feel they block out too much traffic noise, making them dangerous. But speakers that are nearby my ears should still allow traffic noise through. The Giro Chips bluetooth model seems too expensive at around $130, but there doesn't seem to be many options.

Just like grandma: Warm and Cozy
Picked up this helmet in order to help battle the winter elements in MN through out chilly riding season. So far wearing it on multiple 18-25F days I've stayed very warm. In fact, too warm. Took off my balaclava and have been riding with no hat or extra warmth underneath and still stayed warm on a 3hour ride in 20F. I ride in very busy streets and throughout town and the ear flaps do not muffle sound. I'm able to stay alert and warm. Wow, what a deal. Only thing that is a lil funky is the vents on top. While they do work, it just feels stiff and janky when sliding it open or closed.

Serious cold weather helmet but itsy bitsy straps
Sent this back because the strap was to short to buckle around my husband's chin without choking him. Way too short

Snug but warm!
Snug fit but warm and comfortable! I max out the small size and am unable to wear a stocking hat with this helmet, no worries because it keeps you plenty warm into the low teens so far. and when you get too warm flip that vent open for a good cool down! the vent closes tight and keeps the heat in and the ear covers are great! very pleased with this helmet but if you are on the cusp of sizing go bigger if you wish to add additional hats etc.

Nothing but good
I have nothing but praise for this helmet. It has served me well commuting to work in temps as low as teens (with balaclava). The removable ear covers are a great feature. Not a big deal but I would have preferred a simpler system for removing and reattaching them. The orange color is highly visible and the vents can be dialed in as you ride. Overall, a great product, especially for the price.

Great helmet for cycling in sub zero temperatures
This helmet is great for my winter commute to work during Michigan's cold winter season. Temps drop to the negatives with wind chill reaching -30 some days, and I wear a balaclava and this helmet and my head is super warm. There's even a spot to attach a rear light so you can be seen by passing cars. Haven't tried this helmet without the interior padding, because I don't need the ventilation, but the build quality seems solid.

Fragile shell, average quality
Only had this for a couple of months and the shell and foam is already chipping from normal use. I had a bern winter helmet for almost ten years and no chipping; but, this guy is already coming apart. Very disappointing.
