Valid question and I don’t know how to tell for sure. However, I’ve worn this cologne for years and it looks, smells and is packaged just like the ones I bought from department stores. Good enough for me.

How long does it last on you ?

if sprayed on clothing then I have noticed it last all day, if sprayed on your skin then results are the same but it will start to become mild.
