Does the javelin stick in the ground when thrown outside?

No it does not stick. It has a round tip. Meant to practice the throw

What color is it? They're all different in the pictures.

The colors range depending on where it's shipped from. We make them in batches of colors so it just depends. If you'd like a certain one you can request it in the comment section and I can try to get you the color you want.

How many pieces does this break into?

Two. We bought this a few years ago. It is fair for a starter. It is bulky compared to what they would normally throw . But for the money it is good for a starter before investing in a more expensive thinner, more like what they would throw in competition version. If just starting out and not sure if they like throwing go with this. If they know that’s what they want to do, buy one more to what they will use in competition.

If the back end hits the floor will it damage the floor?

It's a hard plastic & pretty sturdy so depending on the floor it could scuff it up or dent it
