John,They are really good, the price jump is due to algorithmic programs that compete on price and inventory levels. I should lower its top threshold, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

The serving size is not 5-6 ounces. It is 1/2 cup or .35 ounces by weight. Keep in mind that these are dehydrated, so there is almost no weight to them.

Q: Are all of their fruit products made in china? even if china is one of several sources, that's enough for me to pass on these. too bad

The package says a product of China. That's the point, who needs poisonous food from a country that cannot be trusted for the sake of profit.
