Sipobuy universal fully waterproof, scratch proof, durable car cover, breathable cotton filled, heavy duty

So I had to buy one of these to protect my MX5 when the electric window failed down. This is a very good lightweight cover that does the job, my problem was I didn't pick the right size so the cover was a bit too big and didn't fit as well as if could. The cover is super light weight and even the slightest movement of air gets under it and lifts it off the car so getting the right fit is important as I had to resort to a strap. The material is very light which is good but I can only guess about the durability as I only used it for a week but worth the money.

Absolute junk. It's a very thin, poor attempt at a car cover. You can see through it ! Doesn't have any straps or even eyelets to tether it to the car. So the the first gust of wind and it's off down the road like an oversized carrier bag. It would be ok if your are storing your vehicle inside and just want to keep the dust off it.

Quality

Unfortunately the car covering, although waterproof and strong was not long or wide enough to cover the whole of my car even though it is a medium size car I had to make holes in the front and back sides and the centre and tie it with string too make it stay on the car. Not impressed with the product at all. It was only designed for the smallest of cars like a mini.

Does the job

'Breathable Cotton Lined Heavy Duty' is a false claim. The item delivered was not cotton lined and not heavy duty. Material was just plastic and of thin quality. The item was promised delivery by Thursday 26 November. On that day we were advised that delivery would not be until Monday 30th November(today). On arrival we tried to fit it to car but the poor quality and weak elasticated bottom would not stay on the car. it was blown off by the wind. There is no way of securing it to the car. A total waste of money. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM

Fabric — IT IS NOT COTTON! It is nylon. NOT WATERPROOF either. The material is so thin that (1) light rain soaks through the soft top of the car; (2) it does not offer any sun-protection. When used under extreme sunlight, it started to feel like it was melting; (3) you claimed it be ‘allow air to circulate’ — how can that be when the material is so thin and light that a mere breeze blows the b****y thing off the car! The only saving grace is its ability to protect the car from dust and bird droppings and that is if the cover stays on.For the amount you charge in this diabolical product of yours, I could have paid more for a better quality and honest description of another car-cover out there. You boast about double stitching, it is utterly rubbish. The stitching around the wing mirror pockets have now stretched and close to ripping.

We purchased this for our BMW Mini One, which this cover fits perfectly. I have been pleasantly surprised by this cover as it is surprisingly strong and has survived some fairly bad weather. Only downside we found was that with a relatively high wind the cover can lift and fold back. To be fair, it didn't blow off, but we have had to tie it down front and back to make sure it's secure - especially with winter weather approaching. In the interim though, this has faired well and kept the car clean and protected from the elements. Which, surprisingly is why it was purchased. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase, I've had too many car covers that have shredded at the slightest breeze and they weren't cheap either. This one seems to be standing up so far, and you can't ask for much more.
