I am in great pain, please help me.
With the continuing decline of The Simpsons, along with the majority of other adult animation, Rick and Morty currently stands as one of the most interesting and entertaining comedies on television. (Coincidentally, the first time I became aware of the show was during a couch gag they appeared in on The Simpsons!)It follows the misadventures of Rick Sanchez, an alcoholic genius, and his underachieving grandson Morty Smith, who's struggling at school (although this is mainly due to his grandfather dragging him across alien worlds and forcing him to insert giant seeds up his rear end). For anyone who enjoyed Futurama, the element that Rick and his portal gun bring to the series will fill in that sci-fi hole in your life. From alternate timelines to fantastic voyages through a homeless man's gut, there's no limit to the imagination here and that's what makes this show so fresh and exciting.Of course, for those who want traditional family comedy, Jerry, Beth and Summer, who make up the rest of the cast, cater for that side of things. Jerry Smith is your typical idiot patriarch ala Randy Marsh from South Park, yet is hilariously dumb and a great character. Wife Beth Smith, also Rick's daughter, is a horse surgeon voiced by Sarah Chalke (Elliot from Scrubs) and finally there's Morty's sister, Summer, who just wants to be popular. Initially they're grounded to the family sitcom position, but as the series progresses they occasionally end up accompanying Rick and Morty on their intergalactic space travels.Still undecided? I think this classic Simpsons quote may best describe it: "So you want a realistic down to earth show that's completely off the wall and swarming with magic robots?" That sort of sums up Rick and Morty. Wubba lubba dub dub!

Too...many...genius moments...to...try and crowbar into...one...short...review title
There are animated shows we all know and we all love. Or, at least, we all like. The Simpsons will never die now. It's pulled a Superman. It's going on forever. Family Guy is heading the same way. South Park refuses to let up. It's fine. It's how animated comedies seem to work. In amongst the giants and the bodies of the long forgotten duds there are the real gems, though. The Monkey Dusts and Futuramas of the world. Rick and Morty is one of those. Who knows, it may never die. It might grow to giant standards. In some senses it deserves it but I am loving the fact this is still just flying under the radar. There is something so brilliant, so subversive about this show. It has moments that are so clever they make you want to applaud and there are moments so disgusting and dark and dumb that you find yourself howling like a kid. I truly love this show. I stumbled across it thanks to The Simpsons (gah, inescapable) and now I am doing my best to burn this show into my brain. It is one of a kind, people. Watch it, love it, worship it. It will either vanish in the blink of an eye or it will be here forever. Either which way, it's one to watch.

Rick and Morty is hilarious and the Blu-Ray is region free.
Brief synopsis: Rick is a genius alcoholic scientist and Morty is his easily influenced grandson and together they go on hilarious adventures across different dimensions, planets and other weird, crazy places.Rick and Morty is an extremely well written show with colourful animation, funny and intelligent humour, great characters and great voice acting and is honestly the best thing I've had the pleasure of watching in quite some time. I am so glad that I randomly stumbled upon this show whilst browsing for something new to watch. I've seen it three times already and in my opinion is more enjoyable than Family Guy and South Park both of which I still love but they have lost some steam over the years, this show feels more fresh and original with it's writing and humour overall Rick and Morty is definitely worth your time and money and I can't wait for season 2.The Blu-Ray transfer of Rick and Morty is sharp colourful and vibrant and is also region free. All 11 episodes come on 1 disc along with commentary's, deleted scenes for certain episodes in storyboard form and an amusing behind the scenes feature. The only negative I have with this Blu-Ray is that the disc is housed in one of those cheap flimsy eco cases which pretty much all US imports have these days but it's easily resolved by replacing with empty 11mm spine amaray cases.

Aw jeez Rick, it's just so good!
For anyone wondering this appears to be a USA blu ray but it works fine on my UK blu ray player. Rick and Morty is currently my favourite TV show and this looks to be the only way to own it properly in HD bluray. I probably don't need to tell you how fantastic the show is if you're reading this. The video quality on this disk is fantastic and it's great to watch the show in 1080p. The extras and in particular the directors commentary are very very funny on this disk and I highly recommend watching every episode with the commentary on if you're a real fan like me and looking for a new way to experience the episodes. The making of section is also very funny and well worth watching.Overall this is a great way to watch a truly great TV series.

There's nothing not to like. I bought Blu-ray disc from the "Dodax" reseller ...
This series continues a comical style that reminds me of what Futurama, Simpsons and Family Guy used to be when those series were at their peak, but with far more speed, crazy humor, swearing, fart jokes and interdimensional travel. There's nothing not to like. I bought Blu-ray disc from the "Dodax" reseller through Amazon. The item was not identical to the one depicted (the parental advisory is MA 15+ instead of M). It's was an Australian import but still region B, so it's playable in Europe. The disc contains lots of extra material beyond the 242 minutes of episodes: Behind the scenes featurette, commentary and animatics for all 11 episodes, and deleted scenes. Special commentaries featuring: Matt Groening (Simpsons, Futurama), Robert Kirkman, Pen Ward, Al Jean (Simpsons) and friends.
