After purchasing Giorgio Beverly Hills for men and being very impressed with it, I thought I'd give this a try. I like my fragrances to last long and project well, and this is what Giorgio Beverly Hills gives you.Red for men lasts for a long time, and projects to a far distance so a lot of people will smell you. Unfortunately, a lot of fragrances today even very expensive ones struggle to offer these 2 main properties.It has a fresh and spicy leather fragrance which can be quite strong as soon as you spray it, but as it dries the scent becomes very good and very nice to smell!I would say this is a winter fragrance, I wouldn't personally wear this during summer due to the woodiness and leather inside this juice. I would also recommend this for late afternoon or evenings, but really you can easily wear this all day.The box is very nice and would make a great gift. The bottle is average but the sprayer is very good.This fragrance to me shows off a man who is successful but doesn't necessarily have to work hard for his success; it defines someone who has romance as a much higher priority than work - perhaps this is why I think this makes a perfect fragrance for late afternoons and evenings.I spent a while trying to figure out why they called this red. There is a carnation note in this fragrance which is a red flower. Carnations have a light scent, but you have to get close to them to appreciate them. That's just my opinion on why they called it red, but maybe that's why I find this as a fragrance for men with romance on their mind.......You need to try this. It's definitely worth the money and easily beats a lot of fragrances in my collection!I hope this review has helped.

Very strong classic 50 -70 smell. My son had put it on waiting to see His he smells later not immediately musky. I prefer anything near Givench play intense type but for instant projection 5 stars. This will certainly be for night time wear where it is the scent that leaves the trail not the wearer. By the time I finished typing I base notes seem to beckon something earthy and masculine some sweet strange ions -very interesting!!!! Definitely intriguing mmmm I give it a 5 star. Yes yes yes !! Yesssssss !!!!!!!!

Bought this as I'm getting back into the manly scents of the 80's. This was launched originally back in 1986 I believe. This is a great fragrance, its hard to compare it to anything but it's definitely got a great old school smell to it. Think Tom Selleck as Magnum, back in its 80's heyday and you won't go far wrong!! The projection is good and longevity lasts for a very good 8-9 hours. Although the initial spray is a little harsh, the dry down is marvellous. Suitable for the older gent, or those who want to be a little different.. Great value for money, a fine addition to any aftershave collection.

This was absolutely FAVOURITE Eau du Toilette in the early 1990's. I was devastated when it went out of production around 1992, I think it was.All the more reason to be happy to find it on here, so ordered 2 bottles as a sort of Xmas Present to myself.First of all when opening the bottle and testing it I did wonder if my memory had maybe been exaggerated, so sprayed my arm twice quite heavily, and thought maybe I just remembered it wrongly, l as I did love that dark Sandelwood it had back then. (and long lasting)Just after 1 hour the fragrance had almost completely gone from my arm, and I asked a friend to give me his opinion, as usually 2 sprays would give off a lasting fragrance for several hours. T friend also said the smell was hardy detectable.No..No No.....thuis is NOT the Georgio Beverley Hills RED that I remember.This must be a FAKE.I should have known for that price, as the original was not an Eau de Cologne in the price category of "Old Spice".How could the original be offered at such a cheap price?this MUST be a fake production and I find it an insult to the people who had the original back in the 1990'sI'm looking to get a refund. (latest update : have now received the refund from Amazon)AMAZON, I'm actually cheesed off at this!!

An old but much loved aftershave that is reasonably priced. Love this.

I was attracted to this purchase by the number of positive reviews and its extremely low price.It is ok as a fragrance, and very good value ( I paid £11 ) so I can not complain at all - although I don't understand the " rave " reviews.I certainly would not be happy to pay the R.R.P ( if such a thing as a R.R.P actually exists ? ) - it is listed as £47 .... it is definitely not in that kind of bracket.
