Reliable. Works very well.
I really like this brand. Their pumps are very reliable and easy maintenance. I've had one from 2 years ago that still works and subsequently bought others (to replace one from a different brand) because they just work. You do have to add the plug yourself but that's the same for all pond pumps of this nature. I have two 3000L and two of the larger 16,000L. One goes to filter and the other as backup and to move water within the pond. Maintenance is much easier than a different bag brand one (actually that was the pump I had first and this was its replacement. And this one was night and day in terms of power, reliability and easy of use, plus the 3000L are super eco 10 watts )

Decent pumps and range
Great pump for my 1000 gallon pond. Added with a UV filter box, water stays crystal clear, carp very happy. Low noise and vibration and will take decent size particles back to the filter. Not massive for power of pump and very sturdy, also easy to clean. Bought as replacement as other one died after 6 years.

Good value for money
Why did you choose this product over others?:required a pump to work a waterfall, this one works perfectly. other water features are also run with pumps of this supplier and give good results.

Small size but does the job
I bought this to replace an Oase aquamax 4000 pump that had been running for 20 years (it finally failed due to water ingress through the cable making its way into the motor). In comparison to the Oase this is a smaller lightweight item, which looks and feels cheaply made however it is a fraction of the price so no complaints on that score. It came pre-fitted with a good long length of cable which isn't shown in any of the promo photo's. Comes with the usual fittings and was easy to set up and was compatible with some of my existing fittings which I reused to make setting up quick and painless. As mentioned by another reviewer although there is a separate inlet port to fit a skimmer or remote filter you cannot pump from the pond bottom and the skimmer at the same time, it is one or the other.Performance is good, I opted for the 4500 model, getting good flow rate to the waterfall and the skimmer is working fine.I should add although not dispatched direct from Amazon It did arrive next day via Amazon Prime so a big thumbs up to the seller for that. The fish seem happy to have some flowing water again.

Still running well after CONTINUOUS use for FIVE years.
Our 1250 Litre garden pond has been up and running for several years and each spring we clean it up and tidy the various and numerous aquatic plants. By early summer the cool and clear winter/spring pond water turns green and the five 6 inch goldfish living in the pond cannot be seen. I have kept tropical fish for many years; more recently breeding Discus in a 6 foot 110 gal display aquarium, so I fully understand water filtration and the Nitrogen Cycle. So realistically, my only option for clear pond water was to install a filter. After much research, I bought the "Fishmate 15000 pressurised UV+Bio pond filter with Powerclenz" and powered it with a "AquaECO 3000" pond pump. This pond pump is super efficient and can pump up to 3000 Litres per hour but only consumes 10 Watts. The Ultra Violet lamp housed within the filter is only 13 Watts so the combined power consumption at 23 Watts per hour is very good. I also ordered some 32mm flexible pipe to attach to the pump and filter. Although you can fit 25 mm pipe, I recommend cutting the fittings on the filter and the pump and fit the widest pipe diameter pipe to aid water flow, reduce strain on the pump and allow the returning water to the pond to flow and not be like a jet of water. I placed the filter in a hole I dug next to pond and approximately 3/4 of the way up the filter housing to conceal it but to allow easy access for maintenance. The filter and pump were only running for a couple of days and there was already signs of clear water developing. After just 5 days the pond water was completely clear and has remained so for a couple of weeks now. Cleaning the filter couldn't be simpler; just turn the knob on the top of the filter and water pressure inside the filter compresses the sponges and pumps out any dirty water. This may have to be done more frequently upon initial set-up. I can highly recommend this filter (and Pump) if it works half as good on your pond as it has on mine, you'll be very happy with your purchase.Still running very well after three years continuous use.
