Incorrect hose fitting size, it's not 10.5mm but 8mm.
The end of the barbed fitting should match the inside diameter of the hose, this fitting has a barb diameter at the end of 8mm. The quality of the fitting is fine but it's obviously not much good if the size is incorrect.
