Hmmmm…..I have a really thick beard - with fat hairs. Some / most beard combs are so fine-toothed many hairs are pulled out every time I use one. Wanted to try one of these each to be beard combs to keep in my vehicles. However, seems the teeth on these are just a bit wide for me to use as a proper beard comb. Tried to comb my hair (THICK N FAT !!!! More than my beard) and it feels like the comb is going to break. So…. I’m going to keep them as a beard comb - at least I’m not pulling hairs out. Love the size…..they’re great for a glovebox or console. Just wish they were a lil’ bit sturdier.

I've only used this a few days, about 5 total times and one of the pins on the fine tooth comb just bent away and scraped into my scalp, wasn't a very good feeling, half expecting it to bleed. I would not consider this high strength as stated in the title information. It was working well. My hair is medium thick and length. I had even just combed it out with a regular comb, so it was already fairly straightened, no knots. I would not trust using this on myself or a child if there is a chance of pins bending under light use. Customer service was very helpful and offered an acceptable resolution, so added a couple stars for that.
