Work well with version 1 AdaFruit library but...
Excellent value for money, nicely made from what look like good quality components, however, be aware of a couple of negatives. Firstly the mounting hole adjacent the servo connector is not aligned with the Arduino PCB, which is a bit of pain if you wanted to use it help secure the shield in place. Secondly, although the description quotes the ability of the LM393D to drive motors up to 36V (which is true), the electrolytic capacitors used to smooth the motor drive Vcc supply are only rated at 16V.
