Will the charger discharge the battery if left hooked up and unplugged from 120v for an extended period of time?

It hasn't on mine, but a light does stay on showing it is charged. Maybe after a long time it might. I've gone 2 weeks no problem.

WHERE IS IT MANUFACTURED?

I bought one like this from Sears several years ago and it has performed perfectly, and was made in the US. When I needed another one Sears didn't sell the one I ordered anymore. So I looked at Costco, Auto shops and on-line. I finally found the Schumacher charger - that in appearance looked almost exactly like my old Sears model. The price was right and I bought two of them. Again they are performing well and doing a great job. But, alas, they are 'Made in China'. One of the things I did when shopping around was to check the point of origin and every where I looked, including Costco were manufactured in China.

What are the dimensions?

Counting the tabs on the bottom, 5.5 tall x 4.5 wide x 1.5" deep.

How long is the AC power cord?

Only about 8" to 10". This unit is designed to be permanently mounted near and connected to the battery (mounting bracket is included). The 110v power is brought to the unit via a typical extension cord.
