Quick quirky read
If you are a dad - or know of a dad - who needs a pick me up on one of those afternoons, this is your book.

Skip this one!
My family loves this series, however, this book (The Dad) felt depressing and overly critical (we really enjoyed The Mum.) I gave it my husband as a funny little gift, but it was anti-funny, mean-spirited, and a bit sad. At least, my husband is not like the selfish louts in the book. I would definitely skip this one.

I don't know if I truly hate it or not as it's not arrived yet
I don't know if I truly hate it or not as it's not arrived yet, today is 12.25.16 and it was ordered 11.13.16. It was a Christmas gift so we are very sad, we've cried many tears and have wondered where our little book is. Is it traveling and having fun? Has someone absconded with it on the way to our home? Will we ever know what happened??

Good
I got this as a Father's Day gift for my son, it's lighthearted tongue in cheek and makes you laugh. We love the Ladybird series for grown up's. The illustrations are vintage looking adding to the humor.
